What`s up with this Farzana-bashing frenzy? Sure - she is screwed up a bit in her thinking and comes up with really weird statements, but chowk is full of such individuals. So what next - somebody would write an aritcle on Urstruly or Naqsabandhi or one of the many closet-mullahs and start a bashing session on them???

Enough. Let`s all go back to good old Paki-bashing ..... or something.

This is so touching. Indians and Indophiles are so eloquent in praising their beloved.... even the finest ghazal poet would have been proud. However, words come cheap..... rather free.... even as powerful as these. Its ok to croak about the rich diversity and glorious traditions and Atal Behari and yada yada, a more worthwhile thing would be build public latrines in Bombay. Surely you know that the majority of Bombayites defecate by the railroad tracks every day?

Having escaped the sewer, the NRI intellectuals try to depict it as some kind of a paradise. Easy, isnt it? and safe of course: away from bubonic plague while enjoying indoor plumbing in california, tell the unwashed Pakistanis how magnificent your sewer.... err paradise is.
