you should read `dumbing us down` by john gatto. he points out several things that are wrong with mass education. many ``educated`` people are only good for holding down a job and filling out their tax forms. maybe all the facts they had to forcefully cram choked out certain segments of their brain and they are incapable of holding an original thought in their head. and then ideas like `6 degrees of separation` are so radical and mind blowing that they make movies about it.
you wrote down some very good examples but sadly most people don`t have to leave their homes to witness such strangeness. for example
1) our purpose in life is to earn a livelihood, and hopefully become an object of much envy
2) doctors and doctors wives are better humans
3) you can beat a servant and its a-okay with God
4) wow, she`s beautiful, sooo gori............

Thank you Ayesha:
In Paki-land eduction are day-time clubs for those between 3 to 30 years old. These clubs churn out cultured-robots. The distinguishing feature being that such eduction creates a westernised-halo around such zombies. They become ou-of-place , but lo-and-behold;they love it! Such are the miracles of such education.
Willy-nilly they drag their cadavers in Pakistan having left their hearts in the bars and strip clubs and brains in the Coffee-houses of the west. They await for such happenings in Pakistan and would not mind committing suicide if someone assures them of a rebirth even as white-trailer-park trash.
The Pakis mistake eduction for western culture (whatever THAT is): To appear educated one must talk about watching foreign T.V, retaining their stupid foreign accents, reading foreign literature, dressing foreignish, insisting about being IGNORANT of urdu in a kind of pride fashion, show contempt for anything muslim or Islamic, extolling the `virtues` of drinking, sleeping around, and being a chursee/bhungee, being bi-polar is also ``in``, ( ``the goraas do it, we must --is`nt my profile gora on a good hair day. Can I at least not be mistaken for a black American?)
Such kind frequent CHOWK as well ( The good news is they do not act as uppity anymore)
The punks and drunks are hiding and desperately avoiding to answer this for fear of becoming bi-polars.
Unless these professors (no more a respectable word) talk to a mullah, any mullah would do for them, they will not know how low-level- their own education.

Your frustration and depression is understandabe. Still fiercely guarding american-accent?
Ears cocked to whatever is happening in Dixie? Still avoiding masjids and maulanaas.
Worry not. You WILL be re-nativised (assimilated? mainstreamed?) alongwith other english-accent-schools ( I wish I could call them madrassas but that would be elevating their status).
Name ONE student from such schools pre or post-partition who has been an achiever in ANY field. Jobs, titles, and positions, and life-styles are NOT achievements.
Let me elaborate Shaukat Aziz vs Agha Hasan Abadi.(madressa)--(you get the drift?)
now more from maktab and madrassas: abdul salaam, Quadeer Khan, Dr. Ali Rajput, abdul sattar edhi, Faiz, Iqbal, Pitras , Quasmi, Manto etc etc (you keep thinking of many others in ANY field and give me just ONE name) who is from accented-schools who can match them)
How does it feel to be in the gutter now. Yes I am in that gutter of the colonised-culture and that is THE issue here.

shamsul:
Can you please enlighten about the courses taught at madrasas? Can a student of a madrasa compete with the students of other institutions while taking admission in professional colleges? Or opting for a madrasa means completely excluding the choice of becoming engineer or doctor?
