Sirosh:
enjoyed the second one more...
it is more poignant...a crescendo of whispers emanating from deep within...the moment of crossing...from this world to the unknown...without `byes...
...one feels truly, utterly lost...aur sitam zareefi yeh hay kay oos lamhay kuch kaam nahiN aata...knowledge, faith, belief, rationality sub saath choRh daity haiN...

........ something to think about:
``The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes allot of your time. And what do we get at the end of it? Death! Whats that...a bonus? I think the life cycle is backwards. You should die first and get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when your too young. You get your first gold watch. You go to work. You work forty years or until you`re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol - you party. You get ready for High School. You go to Grade School. You go back into the womb spend 9 months floating... and finish off as a orgasm!``................george carlin

....... i am convinced that poets are sick masochistic puppies .......... death and the act of dying can be a lot of fun if you have the right attitude ..............
george carlin was once asked how he would like to die. ``i`d just like to explode in someone`s living room,`` he replied............. ``or it would be nice to be thrown out of a helicopter.``.............. now, there is a man with the right attitude about something that could be the the beginning of one heck of a party ....................

Dear Sirosh,
It seems like you lost someone you loved dearly. I am sure these beautiful words that you have penned down are only a drop in the ocean of what you must want to describe at the loss of your loved one.....I know because i too have lost someone. But then the reality is, you really never get over your loss, it stays, lingers on somewhere at the back of your mind, only to creep right back up in your loneliest moments. Whenever you miss the person you lost, say a prayer for them in your heart...that is what i have learnt to do...and it has given me some peace
Loved your poems!
Rgds,
Dee

Hello Sirosh Ji
I loved the poems especially the following verse
``Truth was never incomprehensible,
Until, destiny took its ruthless course.
The inevitable fate became fact;
No glass ever shattered with such remorse…"
I hope and pray you find peace of mind and are able to cope with the lost of a loved one. But their memories should not be a burden on us; atleast be thankful that you had wonderful times with that person. Take care.

exquisitely done. and don`t part with this suffering, for it will help you grow. and also cope with whatever is in store for you. for all i learned from gone with the wind, other than that it`s a crappy book, was that you can never be sure that the worst is behind you.
cheers.
cheers.

Its face crevassed with ugly scars,
Dark tresses that eclipse my hours,
Piercing eyes, in hounding pursuit,
Slender fingers envelope my youth;
beautifully written Sirosh.

looking back, always brings forth tears...
a really painful peace. but pain doesn`t kill but makes people stronger. so the remorse is kinda worth it.

Such writtings directly interacts with souls...
whole poem is exellent, filled with deep feelings..but this one is the best..probably a fact with most of us...

Excellent work Sirosh!
I know how hard it is to be left empty handed without the love of someone whose presence was more natural than the act of breathing. But i guess this is how God`s world functions. have faith and courage and believe in your heart that noone dies until we forget them. And we won`t! right? The poem, its metaphor, its emotion...all of it is so unbelievably touching and heartfelt. Just remember to smile upon the good times before you cry on never being able to have them again.
I propose a moment of silent prayer for all the loved ones who leave before our hearts could learn to live without them!
Bless u always,
Humaisha khush rahein!

hamidm2, grow a heart man or better still jump off a cliff! i promise we won`t remember you or think of you since you are persistent in proving yourself chicken shit. next time you read a poem about some loved one who passed away why don`t you just close the page and try not to exert the three ganglions within your diencephalaon... chances are that more use will kill them rather than evolve them. BTW even animals have a limbic system and are capable of genuine emotion...but again, how would you know?

I guess it happens to us all. Some consider us lucky to have and been loved, others dont. A brave effort to put in words which atleast I ve been afriad of ever since. Well done no doubt. A poem which dragged me back to a past is still so fresh and real. Salute to you who vented it out!
