samshoe: You didn;t answer my question. On the occasions that India won against the Mighty pakistani side, did allah, the prophet and your pir sahib have a soft spot for the kafirs? As far the rest of your post, it makes even less sense than ``interest being haraam``

``The most obvious is a pair of men called Shoaib and Sami, who can bowl at 150km-per-hour pretty much whenever they feel like it.``

True. That is the true hallmark of a chucker...the ability to suddenly increase speed at will.

Compare the wide variation in his bowling speeds with any other bowler and you`ll know. A 150 kmph does indeed come out of nowhere.

I`ve seen shoaib in action several times, went over his action frame by frame, and have no doubts about his chucking...hyper extensive elbow be damned.

Wonder how he was `cleared`.

Ok, here are Chowk`s guidelines...

We encourage all to participate in discussions. All we ask you to be is civil. If your post includes words or masked references that are offensive, crude, repugnant, or obscene, your post will be duly deleted.

Good, now let us take a look at post #16

Maybe you should stop drinking your (or someone elses) urine and get your head in order. Too much falatio is not good for you. So please do not do this.

That of course was looked at by a moderator and was thought fit to post. I get it...how can it be offensive when Yindoo Banias are abused?!! Right.....

I had a post of mine censored because I called a poster a moron for claiming that the name Anal Dickshit is a written in the Mahabharata so it is ok...

[SIGH] Why am I not surprised?!!...

gujjubania alias shamsul #16 You are like a man with a false beard who claims to be Santa Claus - trouble is that the beard keeps slipping every time he claims to be Santa Claus. Your filthy language is matched only by your stupidity.

For centuries, maybe more, we have been rampaging into whichever part of the world took our fancy and making off with the morning newspaper, wherever we got our grubby twice blessed and washed hands on her.

I shall be in Rawalpindi for the Third Test, hope to drive there from Delhi. That`s all that matters.

Romair #6,

Yes, you are right. Depriving PCB of the revenues from cricket is a complete non-incentive.

Another interesting aspect of the game would be the millions and billions of ruppees spent on Betting. I hope the players really go for the game... but you never know if some of these matches are fixed up before hand....

Both Pakistani and Indian players, ofcourse not on the current teams, have been implicated in accepting bribes.... Like Azhar and Salim Malik.

The bookies seems to have as much stake in these games as the two government of India and Pakistan.

Shamsul just curious these cowards aka hindoobanias also have won a few times against the almighty Pakistani squad, how does one explain that. I remember a certain thrashing of Akhtar last march in WC. Do you chalk that up to one-offs when Allah liked these hindoobanias more and Mohammad and Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadri Sahib bestowing their blessings on the kafirs.

Remember Allah saves......but Gretzky gets the rebound and SCORES!!!

pardaisi #5 You should know that ``shamsul`` is actually this south indian scumbag ``gujjubania``. And you thought jay was a nutcase!! This man gujjubania is not just a nutcase, but ridden with filth as well.

He just acts as if he is an islamist nut in order to provide an example of the extremist pakistani that other filth of his kind from india love to portray pakistanis to be. I am waiting to see how long it takes CHOWK STAFF to kick this moron out of chowk (as they did with that third nutcase from india - 12 head.)

I just thought you would like to know.

From the Right:

The author lays out a solid escape strategy by claiming at the onset that he merely is presenting the Pakistani perspective but some of the drivel here is just flat out wrong.

“On a backdrop of anti-Pakistan frenzy fuelled by Hindutva fervour, Javed Miandad and Wasim Akram tag-teamed as coach-captain and snatched unlikely victories at Chennai and Kolkata.”

Huh???

Yes. A couple of 98 lbs shiv sena types did raid the Wankhede pitch, dug it up with stumps and lit a 1 square foot fire aided by a friggin chulloo full of petrol. That sounds more like a snot nosed teenage prank than ‘a backdrop of anti-Pakistan frenzy fuelled by Hindutva fervor’. Are you claiming that that event equates what India will be facing this time?? India managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in Chennai and the Pakistani’s got a standing ovation from 60,000 people and a lap of honor.

So is this Indian tour comparable to the last Pakistani tour? First let Shiv sena organize itself into a bunch of underground movements that has thousands of people from 35 different countries living in the hills training with AKs and RPGs. Then let a vast portion of the Indian government fund and condone their activities. Then let them get pissed off at the government and try a few assassination attempts. Then let them start blowing up busses with assorted humans in them every week. Then let them fly a couple of planes into buildings. The let them issue death threats to major Pakistani players. After that have a test in Karachi. Then see if India wins. And then finally see that in the event that India wins a game suddenly after it looked like Pakistan was going to walk away with it, see if the Indian team gets to do a victory lap of honor to a wild standing ovation from the crowd.

Then we will compare this Indian tour to the last Pakistani tour!

From the Left:

Yeah, yeah all that is fine but the bottom line is that the Indians will still get hammered. It does not matter how good a batting line up India has and how inconsistent Pakistan is. The Pakistanis got dominated by New Zealand but all it took was a half hour from Akhtar and the series was won. India could be 100 for 1 and then Akhtar could do a Dravid Tendulkar combo like last time and India would be hard pressed to get to friggin 150.

India’s two seamer – one spinner starting combination is Zaheer, Agarkar, and Kumble. The fourth bowler would be picked between Harbhajan and Nehra depending on the track.

So that’s your starting five.

Well, Zaheer & Nehra are gimpy and Agarkar, Kumble & Harbhajan are flat injured.

So in this series India’s bowling lineup will be spearheaded by a nineteen-year-old greenhorn called Irfan Pathan. He will be supported by a gimpy Zaheer Khan and a shy kid called L. Balaji. Spearheading the spin attack may be an uncapped kid called Ramesh Powar.

Pathan, Balaji, Zaheer and Powar. Fearsome!
