you shared something on my board that mirrored what was going through my head at the time. and you`ve done it again, though i could perhaps not have expressed it as well. maybe we arent even thinking the same thing and i assume too much. for whats it worth...beautiful, powerful, and welcome.

Beautiful! Indeed mothers are a complex creature.

To be utterly overwhelmed and broken by our protector and nurturer was what first turned us into unbelievers. We cursed our mother, and we cursed God, and we cursed ourselves; anything that would give us our courage back; and make us more deserving of punishment. Still; she was a good mother because she was ours.

you have conveyed the pain and anguish with great poignancy…

…when i read the mother as a metaphor…the poignancy, subtlety, observations and the inner pain comes forth with greater intensity…on some levels this relates to Mother God too
