Loved the lines .. truly sad but sadly , the truth:

I hate old friends
They can hurt you the most
Pulling at your deepest insecurities
They know where to stab, or twist
Then pull you into strong arms
And whisper away your pain

Good work! The poem has rythematic balance and yet whilst reading it, i absorbed the words as if they were part of a conversation.
--

Human Beings are repeatedly manipulated and they sometimes, willingly allow themselves to be manipulated.

``Then pull you into strong arms
And whisper away your pain``

How true...

--

``I hate the gap between fingers
So much slips right through``

Simply beautiful!

--

Keep it Up.

Fatima:

I have been sitting in a closed room where these very thoughts have been echoing for long...and now I read them, from another soul in a place I don`t know, with experiences that have made the refrain of `sister lies` a strange bondage. There are some very fine lines of depth in your poem...

I also liked the delicious irony of the typo in the footnote....``There are moments and memories in everything we right``...so much precious time we spend in making `right` what we are made to believe is `wrong`.

Regards...
