Thank you Hijabi.
Frankly, i wrote it in a frenzy sitting in the library of my college yeras back. I had no one in mind . As for the feeling, i only recall feeling exhilarated for no reason at all.
Thanks once again.

i sit here with your article printed out in from of me.
i have re- read it over and over agian.
everytime i find something new of understanding.
I am so impressed by the way you have expressed this confusion
that lies inside some ones mind. The back and forth struggle of
what is the right thing to do... to believe.
Allah is there... in us.. we know what is right and wrong. But he has
given us free will ..... which depends on us to decide... it makes us feel so
alone at times. That it almost forces us to talk to ourselves....
My qs lies in your truth.. and your lie..?
Do they represent anyone... or just your feelings?
what were the feelings u felt as u wrote this?
you dont have to answer.... my it was a amazing

Truth and lie both are relative. So to focus on anyone of them shows a lop sided emphasis lack of depth. What is more important is to persist in maximization of positive results for the Living World (deliberate expansion from human world).
It is this judgement of the definition of the relevant frame of reference to the Living World that is so personal that confounds the entire situation and leads to the absolute necessity of moderation in the walk of life.
Above reality is summarized in the very last line of the poem.

Interesting. A new concept, attempted admirably. Use of Capital ``T`` and ``L`` would have been easier on the eyes as well.
You`re a bold, brilliant, and believing person and in my Book/book that matters.
Khush amdeed!

A Terrorist within or a Terrorist without....``it was the same old story; body parts, blood congealing on the hot road - Iraqi blood, of course``
``By the time I crossed the river, it was the same old story; body parts, blood congealing on the hot road - Iraqi blood, of course - smouldering cars and smashed concrete, and policemen and soldiers shooting wildly into the air.
``I saw the suicide bomber,`` a driver told me in a bland, disinterested sort of way.
Most of those who died were Iraqis seeking work from the Iraqi authorities. So whose severed hand lay on the road beside the blasted concrete walls?
``The forces of evil,`` was how Iraq`s prime minister, the former CIA operative Iyad Allawi, described the murderer.”(Fisk in Iraq)
Another scene:
“Explosions from the 2 a.m. strike Sunday rocked the city. Scores of people ran to the scene and dug through the wreckage looking for survivors. Body parts were scattered at the scene; some were stacked and covered by a gray blanket.”
Another Terrorist attack…..??? NO
A U.S. airstrike authorized by Iraqi interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi hit purported trenches and fighting positions in Fallujah used by al-Qaida linked foreign fighters, killing 14 people early Sunday, Iraqi officials said….
Fallujah Mayor Mahmoud Ibrahim al-Jirisi said the attack hit a site for civilians supporting the Fallujah Brigade, a militia of local residents that took responsibility for security in the city when the Marines left.
``There are no Arabs or foreigners with them,`` he told the pan-Arab television station Al-Jazeera
``The attack, the sixth U.S. strike on the city in roughly a month, killed 14 (Iraqi) people and injured three, according to Saad al-Amili, a Health Ministry official.”

Interesting dialogue, aptly presented. As a matter of fact, managing such a dialogue was quite a ifficult task, and job is done quite well here.

Garam Chai...
What a coincidence! Reading your post while drinking garam chai. :)
Anyhow, please do not think too hard. Truth and lies are not same. They are different. In certain situations, however, even though the truth is voiced, all faith is lost in it`s authencity.
Have you ever heard the story of a boy who used to lie and scare people all the time by screaming that the lion had come to eat him . But, one day when the lion did come to eat the boy for real, no one believed him and the boy was eaten?
Sometimes, people ask me if i am going to lie when i start my law practice. And, i always tell them that a good lawyer does not lie. A good lawyer only presents the truth in various forms.

Can any goragoochaater ngo match this?
Here is a MULLAH ( let us now co-opt this word and turn it into a GOOD word--use it often ) who is severely critical of the JAAHIL mullahs. Yes! just like there are jahil generals, jahil MBA holders, jahil civil servants, jahil foreign-educated teachers etc so does the Islamic republic of Pakistan has jahil mullahs.
Goraagoo Bush & Blair are not only jahil but evil too--hence worse. The texas-of-evils and the poxes-of-evils.

This is a nicely written poem - although I struggled a bit to comprehend it.
It is interesting to notice how the word ``lie`` has a become a taboo in American culture. It is perceived as a very harsh word, the utterance of which is considered as an unrefined way of communication. Therefore, the society has developed an alternative lexicon to replace this word. `Misrepresentation` is one such word. `Incorrect` is another convenient word.
Here are some of the quotes that i have heard lately. Notice the discomfort in characterizing something as a lie.
``There are truths, and then there are untruths`` - Rumsfeld
``There is no such thing as a `lie`. There are just varying degrees of truth`` - Clinton
Here is an excerpt from the interview of Richard Clark, the former Anti-Terrorism Task Force cheif of US, who accused Bush Administration of not paying attention to terrorist threat prior to Sept 11:
Larry King: So Mr. Clark, are you suggesting that Bush Administration is lying?
Clark: People in Washington are too smart to lie. I would not call their statements as lies. I would call their statements as having `wrong context` or `misplaced emphasis`.

I really liked the following verse. Speaking truth or honesty are the hardest things to do in life. Even seeking, recognizing, and admtting the truth is not so easy either. Interestings, we as individual and nations fight each others, claim to be the righteous. Who is the judge to decide who is right , and who is wrong?
Dear truth, is it my nature or my name?
That to admit openly, is the one thing I cannot do,
In your last line, do you mean that truth and lie are same? It confuses me. Perhaps, i am concluding wrong. Lie is one of many probabilities to be happen. The happening of one of these possibilities becomes the fact. If lie means the non-existance of the fact, by that scale, whole poetry become a lie!!!! Absolute truth is a very abstract. It is not finite and fixed, changing constantly. On the second thought, i feel like i DONT KNOW at all. More i think, more i loose the meaning.
Does the truth merely mean, what happen and why it happen? What is it?
Regards.
