I find to my chagrin that dear little Barachota has been terminated with extreme prejudice. The little baba came to Chowk just overflowing with the milk of human kindness. It is only after his exhortations (Self-serving? Perish the thought!) that India-Pakistan rivalry should be replaced by India-Pakistan cooperation, were rudely and cruelly rebuffed, that he was willy-nilly forced to adopt a different attitude. He had no choice.
If he went a wee bit overboard in his entirely justified jihad, the blame must lie squarely with the Paki-bashing interactors who drove him over the edge. He is certainly not the first Pakistani who went down that road (coming to Chowk for a friendly chat, only to run into these pathetic specimens from India). Beheading Barachota and not dealing with the root cause of terrorism (i.e. hate-mongering Indian Hindutvas) sends entirely the wrong message.
Further, even if Barachota had to be decapitated, his remains, i.e. literary oeuvre could have been preserved permanently on Chowk in mummified form as a monument to a certain kind of utterly genuine un-selfserving un-narcissistic ‘liberalism.’ It is most distressing that the Chowk staff have chosen to eviscerate the corpse and throw the pieces away. Only a bloodstained red X labelled “User removed for repeatedly ignoring/violating Chowk Interact guidelines” remains as a mute testament and legacy.
I vote that Barachota be revivified and recalled to edify everyone with his pearls of wisdom. I trust that those Chowkies who exchanged dozens of posts with him, chit-chatting in French, warning him about the lurking reptiles and rodents on Chowk, or egging him on in his jehad against the Paki-bashers, will join me in tbis request.

I am glad that they yanked my previous post. I went thru the Dost Mittar moment after I had hit the submit button. I was hoping that they would reject it.
Anyway, the point remains and you live for another day. I hope chowk will consistently apply the policy and here it is again.
“who repeatedly use personal attacks and crude/offensive verbage targeting people/religions/nationality of other interactors.”
I will be reminding them of this policy often, I guess!
There is no need for anybody to gloat, I am still here and will continue to post.

I feel bad that i abused Farzana or anybody else during my interactions on Chowk. As far as the former is concerned, i was angry many times because of the way she made claims on various issues without backing up with solid facts. My attacks were never based on her religion.
Anyway, looks like u have outdone me in your post # 542.

chowk staff #571 Hear! Hear!. You are doing nothing more than enforcing your guidelines, which are quite reasonable. I just hope you become more strict than you have been in the past, both on the front page and on unplugged.
Lately we have had too much crude language here and on unplugged which I think has prompted your actions. We also have this chronic problem of self-proclaimed ``paki bashers`` who come to chowk for only one purpose only, and that is to write their stupid insults and ridicule of pakistanis and/or muslims from safety of the internet (I would say the same for Pakistanis if that was true - but this behavior is demonstrated by Indian posters mostly for some reason).
I just hope in future you will take the same approach with anyone who violates any of your guidelines. My suggestion is to take the ``3 strikes and you are out policy``. Give someone two warnings, then the third time chuck him or her out along with all of his or her posts.
Thanks again for taking the right step.

There are some interactors on this article as well as other articles who repeatedly use personal attacks and crude/offensive verbage targeting people/religions/nationality of other interactors.
This is a reminder that such offenders will be duly removed from Chowk along with their entire history of interactions.
Chowk welcomes you to read, write and think. This means to open your mind to views new and different from your own. Not simply to counter-attack differences with obscenities. More clearly, if you do not wish to read and think then please don`t bother to write.
