LONDON: Hugh Grant, who is reportedly seeing Jemima Khan, has shed the shroud of secrecy. He was photographed coming out of Jemima`s home, after spending the night with her.
According to a report in Hello magazine, Grant was spotted collecting the morning papers from outside her Fulham home last weekend, thereby lending credence to the alleged affair.

Grant has been very cautious about avoiding the paparazzi, but this time the camera caught him leaving Jemima`s home.

He was seen emerging from the mews cottage early on Saturday morning. After collecting the papers, he got into his black Mercedes and drove himself home.

Meanwhile Grant`s ex-love, Liz Hurley who dated Hugh between 1987 and 2001, has reportedly, given her blessings to Hugh`s relationship with Jemima.

``Jemima is lovely and I`ve told Hugh I`m desperate to see him happy and settle down with the perfect woman,`` she was quoted by the report as saying.

‘Not the whole truth`

LAHORE: Commenting on Imran Khan`s statement that ``his political life had made it difficult for Jemima to adapt to life in Pakistan,`` Jugnu Mohsin, the publisher of The Friday Times, said this was just part of the entire story. .....

..... When asked about how Imran had married a British woman instead of a Pakistani woman despite being an orthodox Muslim, Ms Mohsin said, ``He insisted that Jemima convert to Islam though there were many misgivings about the genuineness of that conversion also.`` Ms Mohsin said, ``I think she really shouldn`t have converted if she wasn`t sure that this was the way she wanted to go and what she wanted to be.`` She said it was unfair of Imran to expect this of Jemima.

Imran denied he had fathered the little girl until a legal suit proved otherwise. He did not meet Tyrian until she was six years old.

Jemima was reported to be ``highly upset`` about the court case, even though she and Imran are now reported to have developed a close relationship with Tyrian. .....

remember the article when stephen hawkins got beaten-up by his companion? how come imran does not get accused of being a nasty who abused Aunt Jemima? Both Hawkins and Imran accomplished men, so why such discrimination? TFT i understand, but chowk would have printed such a fly in the soup, no? So please shrpen your pencil and do some unfounded juicy accusations. At least allow the tabloids to make some. It is very important jouranalism, as inquring minds need to know.

As long as human beings do not breed asexually and maternity is always certain and paternity is never, inequity between men and women is bound to remain. I think so synthesis that west has done of this men-women equation is shown to be working very well.

Management scientists have shown that when more than one person participates, decisions are always better. Eastern mothers of old era took recourse to Jadu-Tona when they faced crisis. Eastern women of new era think with their heads. If new era`s choice were not there you would not even be writing this. Why be cynical about it so much?

of course letters have not been dashed off to the british press group telling them that this is a `pakistani affair`. that would be contrary to someone`s kissing anglo-american arse? the world be damned if an indian or pakistani should talk about anything or anyone connected with `the west` as exploitative. exploitation only happens in islamic/pakistani society na? and when the secular pakistan movement fulfils its goals `to secularize, humanize, and anglo-americanize` pakistan tau humra exploitativeness bhi khalaas ho jayega!!! :D

what more could be annoying to someone who has said somewhere that, `no one blames jemima for dumping his (imran`s) religious, feudalistic arse`, other than the british press`s arse being exposed? :)

I was quite impressed by the article Jemima wrote shortly after marriage. She seemed knowledgeable about Islam, made the right notes, came across as a woman who knew exactly what she was in and not a bit disillusioned.
Cut to the present and what seems to be the case to me, is that while Jemima is in full bloom, Imran has come to occupy himself with other issues, political to be precise. Interests change with time and age; he is no longer the Imran she married. Not that it is anybody`s fault. If only he had not let political aspirations take over and consequently been compelled to uphold a certain image in the public, they would have lived happily ever after.
The media would have embraced him had he continued with his playboy image/flamboyant life style replete with visits to bars and pubs and little escapades and rendevous...
He didn`t.
The media would also have been less prying of Jemima had she not converted to Islam of all the religions.
She did.(Horror of horrors!)

And lets admit: it is easy to fall prey to the easier things in life.
Jemima is a victim of this very syndrome.

As one interactor pointed out, its the children one should be worried about. Not that Imran and Jemima have been least affected.
