Farzana

I do not know what the British press is saying. But the word here is that a women who left her home, her culture, her serene surroundings, her name, her dress and who tried her best to adjust here - was divorced by Imran.

Imran is being blamed for not going that extra mile for Jamima. All women sympathies are with Jamima.

Frankly, with Imran`s reputation as being too haughty and proudish, it could be expected.

Allah hee jane kon Bashar hey

Khan Sahib should have married a traditional Muslim girl from Mianwali. Has someone seen Mianwali girls? It is because of this kufran-e-nai`mat thatr khan sahib had to go through all this miserable situation in life. Gori chamri aur Fish-eyes meiN wafa nahiN.

A good couple should have complementing personalities - as in ``completing each other``. Jemima, a rich and bratty kid, did not have that.

Urstruly : Of all the Chowkies, you are most well positioned to write ``An Open Letter to Imran Khan``. Remind him of the Mianwali girls. Or better yet, the Sialkoti girls. Maybe put him in touch with some `rishta karaanay valee aunti`` in Lahore. I am sure even for his senior age, that aunti can work magic and get him a nice match from Bhakkar (siraekee girls are pretty good too)

To Imran: Welcome home brother!

Imran Khan is very confused. He cannot decide what he is. His detours would be quite entertaining if he didn`t want to become a Prime Minister of Pakistan to set that country ``straight.`` In the bigger scheme of things, he`s just a sad person who knows not what he`s, what he wants to be, and what he`s doing.

I had in my sixth sense since their marriage thats its not going to work for so many reasons... Whenever a persons says I have adopted Islam after studying or seeing her beloved god knows the truth, I always doubt a bit in 21st century...

Did Imran Khan failed to Islamicize his wife. Would she turn away from Islam for her next marriage? Would be interesting to know...

Farzana you are arguing little Jemima for so much or you are showering her with all dimensions which she couldn`t have known to...or was not able to coup with or someone else showed cowardness or was it a deal???
Well She have farewelled for what she couldnt do...now we cant debate any conclusion...

She is not a scale for East West culture contradictions...

Lets assume it their personal level...She could be a lot better now..Lets hope for her better
future...

Regards

malik

I would advise men with feeble heart (like me), never to bring a Siraiki girl to say to you ``taiN baRa lobhi haiN`` - she can make you do anything with these four words.

``Khan Sahib should have married a traditional Muslim girl from Mianwali. Has someone seen Mianwali girls?`` heh heh.. many tried but they are behind purday..at least those who have any sharam and haya.

seriously, jemima - imran divorce is a non-event in the US and in UK its a very mild amusement value. clearly for TFT readers it may be important. for farzana..well its a living.

I am just glad that the abomination of miscegenation has ended.

Seriously? what makes a nice aryan woman to marry monkeys and gorillas is beyond me. I guess it`s the perversion factor. Just like there are preversions like incest, homosexualism, lesbianism, etc.... there is bestiality.

Urstruly - You wrote ``I would advise men with feeble heart (like me), never to bring a Siraiki girl to say to you ``taiN baRa lobhi haiN`` ``

ouch!! just the mere reading of this phrase hurt right in my heart. Ursutruly, please! next time you write such a heartbreaking phrase, please put a warning note : ``Not for feeble hearted``

Ok, so given that our Imran is pretty feeble hearted - I suggest that if he wants simple beauty, he should go to Mianwali. If he wants beauty with finesse, he should visit Sialkot. And if at his age he is still into ``pure passion play``, then Lahore is the best. And if he can`t get over his taste for european delicacies, then Islamabad has a lot of white girls in not-so-white skin.

It is no big deal that a divorce has happened; the only reason why this news finds place is because of the celebrity status of both Imran and Jemima.

Well, I do not see any reason for us questioning Mr. Khan`s personal live. And why does a piece such as Mr. Khan visiting palmists has to come under the news. It is none whatsoever.

We need to thank Imran the cricketer and see what Imran the politician can do rather than complaining all the time.
