WIth all due respect sir. Who would want to be creative or how would the industry attract `Creative` people, if:
1. There is no regard for the thought. People here pay for the craftmanship, not the thought or concept.
2. It`s a family owned industry. Everyone`s mama, chachaa, etc. is here......and working at the top. There`s not much room at the Top.
3. A good producer earning Rs. 10000 a month, is not going to be inspired to do sth different. Fine, the work counts as well as self-motivation, but the end of the day, you also have to feed your family.

What the writer says about the way the music video industry is going is also tru for the Play and drama industry. As some one who was involved with the TV industry i feel that plays and dramas on TV have stagnated and fallen where their is little hope of recovery. The whole atmosphere of creativity and vitality existing in the mid ninties and till the 2000 has just vanished. The innovation which channels like STN and Prime TV had sparked has blown a fuse. All the talk of the more the merier and sifting of filth from quality has succumbed to the red notes and sponsorship battles. The plays thesedays are far from life escapist unreal and content wise pathetic. What happened to introspection, social comment, slice of life. I wish somebody would sit up and take notice and be motivated enought to revive a bit of the magic of the days gone by.
