RE: Humsab #8

``Halal Music`` was a description used in jest. There is no such thing

as all music may or may not be ``Halal`` but the term was used to

justify the inclusion of the musical presentation. I could not stay

long enough to decide whether the ``Halal`` term was applicable or not.

But I must say that there were a number of very conservative people

at this gathering who were not into any music at all.

Ras

Ras ji

What kind of music is considered Halal Music? This is the first time I have read this term.

I think even ONE DOLLAR makes a difference for pakistan. Ask the person, who will be helped by that dollar. When you live a little luxury life in states, then you would not understand how does that one dollar help a poor person in pakistan. Merely criticizing those who are doing good for others, is not such a good act. Writing comment on chowk is very easy, but taking steps to help others need some good heart.
BE POSITIVE IF U CAN!!

Easy man. Qazi is a smart person, and professionally very sound.

Regards.

And just to shame the dictator and his chamchas, Indian ambassador should have been invited, instead, to the ceremonies and special prayers should have been held for his health. All that Qazi needed was a friendly caution and reminder to watch his head (while in Iraq).

Inviting Ashraf Jehangir Qazi to this gathering was a proof that it was nothing but another meeting of International Union of Pakistani Testical Careers. Shame on them.

Re: #1 & #2

In spite of the criticism and the many questions, there are still some people

in this world who cling to a hope for Pakistan.

There is bad news available all the time for us to read.

My hats off to HDF, DIL, Hidaya, Citizens and of course Edhi

for not giving up!

Typical

A ceremony--lots of religion--patriotic stuff--a dignitary
charity

We all feel good.

Where did the money go.......?

No problem--have another function.

Where`s the substance? How is the 100k or the last 100k beign used.

Mr. Mcdermott alone must cost more!
