Terrorists are megalomaniacs- They get a real high when they raise their guns before millions of TV audiences and terrorize them with the threats of violence. They love being praised as martyrs when they are no more- in short they would do anything for publicity except that the objective of this narcisstic advertisement blitz is to terrorize those who would dare to oppose them in their stated goals of establishing their superiority over others as divinely ordained. Which is the reason why they are called Terrorists!
LEt us not forget that 9/11 was only a publicity event which was well planned like the modern advertisement campaigns of some product- 9/11 was the re-launch of the Jihadism on a world wide scale. The 9/11 campaign was an designed by OBL to create terror in the minds of the Americans and generate a great awe and inspiration in the minds of the Ummah. It was also the world wide launch of OBL as the greatest of all the religious terror leaders in the contemporary history. 9/11 has become the greatest negative publicity campaign that modern Islam is confronted with. And now we have all the copy cats who want to out do OBL in their darings. This band of technological savvy narcisstic guys who think that they need to blow even a bigger hole in civilian populations world over in order to be called the greatest religious leader of all times.

True, the Pentagon is responsible for the countless deaths that they so coldly attribute to `collateral damage’. But my question is does this still justify the slaughtering of people like goats-some of them civilians- and then videotaping the murder? Which Islamic junction teaches us that? While condemning others for their heinous acts, we should also take a note of our own inhumane actions and must not support them.

Any analysis should present both sides of the picture.Otherwise it is not an analysis. Everybody knows the reality of Fox and CNN,while they demonize a channel like AL-Jazeera.A suggestion-watch ``Control Room``.

This article could very well have been written by Paul Wolfowitz.

The author states ``It was the first time in Islamic militant history that not only the hostage was savagely beheaded but the act was also recorded on film and then later with professional quality video editing, complete with sound effects, the movie was made available online. ``

Apparently, the author has never seen the pentagon videos of missiles raining down on densely populated cities. The strange thing about these ``surgical`` strikes is that they seem to decapitate multiple men, women and children in one hit.

As for the author`s point about use of internet by the terrorists - i am not sure if he has had a chance to visit www.foxnews.com. Terrorists seem to be posting news about their latest murders quite frequently on such sites.

Trying to figure out what’s the point you are trying to make in this article. Besides why some letters are bold? Are you trying to use this forum for some kind of message for “jihadis” as well? After all you just mentioned how good they are in using internet
