Echoboom sahab: muaazrat chahta hun. meri urdu kaafi paedal hai. sher-o-shairi zyaada samajh main nahin aati. thank you for writing though. umeed hai aap aur aapke pyaare khairiat se hain.

Minhaj: dude, why aren`t you writing any more? North Nazimabad is crying out for its stories to be told. Likho! Or are you too busy returning dinner invitations . . .

Words well used. No doubt about it. Subtle too. But I felt that the emotions were too underplayed. Very likely it is my problem...aakhir soaps se roz dhultey jo hai :)

But just for that one line, ``A peel of exile sky`` I shall look at the idea of `longing` differently...

Khama ungusht b`dndaaN hai isay kya likhiay.
Naatquaa sr b`graibaaN hai isay kia kahiyay.

at the risk of sounding arrogant, anything which makes me read it more than once and still leaves me wondering as to its meaning - must indeed be very deep.
Im quite cynical about poetry, but I can appreciate the delicacy, simplicity and beauty you have conveyed using those few words...for once chowk agrees - excellent!!
