A beautiful tale spun in a manner that said all without saying much, especially the title.
A wonderful read!

Storyteller,

There is something about the silence of the wind that is at once so enigmatic and so elucidated. Giving so profusely of itself to those who need it, so indifferent to those who don`t care, and so ragingly mad at those who deny it.

The paradox about the wind as of those we love is that like our love it lives within us and without us, at once dwelling in every nook that our palpitations throb and yet surrounding us externally as engrossing us. And then we are part of it as we are encapsulated by its presence so invisibly and so wholly.

Fading traces of love`s candid laughter as when love isn`t there but its memory is. The pain of not being near one`s love as but also as a desire to be closer.

``He sighed and gazed wistfully at the ground, his eyes like the salty ocean.
He replied in a clear voice, “It was the color of love…the color of Tanana.”"

Peace!

Absolutely captivating!

It felt as if i was watching some documentary or an animated film, with a husky, booming voice relating the story in the background. :)
Each word really ``belonged`` to the story and there was nothing in it which was out of place.

Excellent work!

Kind regards.

storyteller:

despite a couple of mis-steps enjoyed this…

“It was the color of love…”
love is not only colourless it assumes, subsumes and consumes love …and sometimes the lovers…
