To answer your fisr question, the scientists do not believe that God has much to do with the working of our universe. Much of it can be explained without reference to God. The other mysteries which remain unexplained at present will probably be explained at due time. Such a belief is the strong suit of science; without this belief, there will not be much motivation to do science. If God has created the universe and the laws that govern its operation, He can also change them at will. In such circumstances, there won`t be any science, it will all be the will of God.

But again, there are many scientists who are believers; their belief is however very much different from the conventional belief. Their God does not interefere in science. The question as to who created the laws of nature is still a mystery. Many believing scientists tend to attribute the creation of the laws of nature to God; many others are just indifferent. It doesn`t make a great deal of difference either way.

well written article, but i still don`t understand why some scientist knowingly rejects the idea that all these fundamental laws of physic were design intentionally to suit human survival by a super power who is also controlling our life. btw how many dimensions scientist has discovered
