Much has been said about the article and the author but all I want to say is that after reading the last line of the article I was totally caught up in the moment. May be its becuase of the fact that its a farewell time in my life where I have to let my best buddy go since he is moving back to Pakistan. ``I entered my apartment, quietly closed the door behind me, and laid down on couch exhausted`` these words gave a shiver to my whole body as if I were experiencing the very moment.

I think if you change that WOULD to SHOULD, it will look more realistic.

Oh and being a Punjabi I especially enjoyed the part where you said `Ataf and tabash` hehhe..like your humour :) keeps alot of us going.
