cinemas in india are in a revival via small houses in residential muhallas seating 300 and large multiplexes. reasl reason why karachi cinemas are not economically viable in todays age is becuase they dont show bolyywod blockbusters.

This phenomenon is being observed all over the world. Even in India a lot of theatres have closed and have become shopping malls, which is good because we have too many theatres.

cinema has been killed by booming video market and the insecurity factor in the subcontinent.
