have not read the entire article yet, but would just like to comment on the title at the risk of being a nitpicker like some of the folks here:
is ``mehraba`` here used as the greeting exchanged between arabs? if it is the case, i know that transcribing into roman arabic or urdu/hindi is not always held to a standard, but it does tend to change the meaning of the word if it`s not close to how the word is vocalized. if ``mehraba`` is indeed the greeting exchanged between arabs, it`s more approximate to the spoken to write it as ``marhaba``, or even ``merhaba`` if one must.
if it isn`t used as such, then just ignore this post. thanks!
