Politicians are the same over...they will fill the rivers with milk (in their speech)....when they come to power, the rivers run dry - not even water.

Here is a First Husband whose wife`s government was democratically elected twice yet dissolved undemocratically twice as well. The Pakistani Press labelled the couple as extremely corrupt and accused them of bleeding the country`s economy dry. I dont know if any of the charges levied against Ms. Bhutto and her husband, but I know this, How can a system of government infiltrated completely with corrupt individuals and policies call its Prime Minister corrupt.

The grass root of PPP somehow don`t trust Zardari and when Zardari was freed most of the top brass of PPP were not happy - so there`s this split in PPP over Zardari .
Today Zardari is a hero - thanks to Nawaz Sharif and Co. and Faujis - who made someone who was ` one of the most openly corrupt person - ` a hero - a news maker . Yes, yesterdays persona non grata is todays ` most talked about person in Pakistani Politics` . I do think Zardari has matured alot after spending years in jail and he knows the politics of Pakistan has changed - the ways of making money has changed ( thanks to free media policy) - he is a cautious man , who has learnt how to play ` media game` as well .
I remember talking to one of the sons of a very active politician of PPP in NWFP who are our family friends from 60`s - he told me that when his father went to visit Zardari in jail , Zardari Sahib had Balentines with him and on the other hand was a famous dancer.
In the end of the day these are the people who are rulers of Pakistan because they don`t have any idealogy - his only plus point in the end of the day is he ( zardari ) could order Bibi ( Benazir ) to make a cup of tea anytime he wants - thats about it !

There sure is a understanding between PPP and President Mushraff - Bibi is clever doesn`t want to PM at this stage because of Pakistan(s) war against terrorism ( which will obviously make her unpopular ) -

Sad, pitiable, now its trade in nurses ``what emancipation are we discussing here?. Ms. Beena Sarwar, after such prolific writing, enchanting,enlightening. This has come has cruel shock. By the way may one remind you its an MQM Governor who stands between the Jirgah Ordinnace and the Sindh High Court Judgment. Any food for thought?
