Temporal February 6, 2005

Temporal ji, when society has not much to be happy about, and innocent faith is replaced by threats of money orders being sent to God, then any occasion to celebrate needs to be immortalised, if possible.
Would the issues of poverty or healthcare or education or Baluchistan/rape be in any way impacted by celebrations elsewhere?
Matter of fact, would such celebrations actually strengthen the hands of those looking for change?
Either ways, good luck. Here in Delhi it has been raining for the past 18 hours.
