malik sahib, I don`t know about modern but I`m definitely not a maulvi due to my infinitesimal knowledge of Islam - but then that`s probably why you call me one. Anyway, jazak-Allah-Khair.
the credit for dhitaai is all due to Allah, for He make dragged me out of the wayword life-style of those you name. In other words, I can relate to them since I`ve been there and done all of that. Indeed, infinite is His Mercy. Besides, throughout history salesmanship for this religion has proven to be most daunting and perilous of tasks, and I couldn`t excel at it without persistence.
Your intention for the last minute is very admirable, but ab line pe aa jao kyon k is `mintue` ka koi maloom nahi kab aa dhamkay ga.

ShoreSahib, agar aap Musalmaan hain to doosray Musalmaan ka (chahay wo jahil he sahi) poora haq to ada ker dein. Pheeki si ``Wa alikum to you as well`` to aadhi-deyanat-aadhi-kheyanat maloom hoti hai. Baher-kaif, jo diya us per bhi jazak-Allah-khair
Shayed chowk time (CT) ke hisaab se Uloo dikhta hoon, lekin mein to us khaak mein phirta hoon jis mein shayed kabhi hamray pyaray nabi (saw) chala kertay hongay, is liye jub CT andher mein hota hai to meray liye yehan roshni hoti hai.
BTW, kahin aap ne uloo ka laqab detay huey zaban to nahi chirhaii thi mujhay. If yes, then I must mind my manners `cause you may be ShoreSahibA.
ma`as-salaam!

the islamic ghetto ......
............... i have always maintained that as long as ksa continues to exist in its present with its wahabi islam and islamic ``way of life``, muslims all over the world are going to stay mired in misery, confusion, fanaticism, obscurantism and superstition ......... saudi arabia, with its oil and guardianship of the holy places, continues to wreck havoc on the psyche of people like ntsyed and the author of this silly article ...........every single one of the people i know who have spent some time in saudi arabia with their families return to pakistan with this strange world view that they then try to impose on everyone else ........... this does not apply to the poor labor class who go their alone and work day and night to send money back to their familities in mardan, lalukhet and gujranwala ............ it is the ``educated professional`` class which adopts the islamic ghetto mentality of the saudis after living in luxury compounds for a couple of years .......... this nonsense must end, now!
....... the solution: occupation of saudi arabia by us forces and the establishment of an islamic vatican comprising of mecca and medina ......... too radical ?....... okay, how about simply splitting off hejaz and reinstating prince hassan of jordan who, after all, is the rightful guardian of the holy places and is looking for a real job ?

Unfortunately, this board has been taken over by bunch of cheap men and their ramblings. It tells you what happens to the mental state of men when they read or hear about abayas. Keep on sharing your gibberish! It may make you enlightened one day.

zahraj,
......... stick around, you might learn something about men that could come in handy in your endevours to find a soul mate ......... you will see that we come in all shapes and sizes - from the bearded neanderthal dragging his knuckles and lota on the ground, to the post-modern metrosexual who values his hair dresser and iPod more than his woman ......... unfortunately, there is not much in between ....... but, take your pick

Hamidm:
Your examples are quite naive since it is already been decided that there is nothing of caliber in the men of today. They are full of jargon. I am fortunate to reach that conclusion way back. So, no surprises for me. I am sure it may have been a surprise for you if you have not seen a mirror in a while. By the way, only naive fools believe in the concept of soul mates. That may be an offensive revelation. My apologies to those who found themselves in the ``naive/fools`` category. The practical ones do not fall into these ditches :)
Take Care and Happy Interacting on a board full of weirdo men!

Hamidm:
I hope you were not making a mockery out of the word ``endeavor`` by killing the ``a``. From your interacts, you never seemed unkind or cruel. This may have been a typo. Please be extra sensitive the next time.

......... the missing `a` was a typo - nothing subliminal .......... really, i think you are too cynical about men - there are a lot of good ones out there but unfortunately most of them are married and kind of old ................. it takes a man a long time to grow up - even god won`t talk to him until he turns forty ............

Apropos, your soft profanity oficially declares the anticipated bankruptcy of your deluded secular arguments due to arrogantly condescending attitude burnt into the psyche of your ilk.
Thank you for your implied submission against the Quran & Sunnah.
Allah o Akber - a direct challenge for anyone who denies or distorts His Word for petty personal gains and conveniences to assimilate into the perpetually degenerating disbelieving culture.
Succinct enough? I hope so for your sake... to avert your embarrassing inability to counter 1400 year old arguments in spite of presumably elightening western rearing (please don`t mistake it for rear end due to uncontrollable rage).
Let me know if it takes you longer to understand the preceding responses than going through the detailed ones previously.
On the other hand, shedding the tight clothing for relaxed ones may help restore the inexplicable severed blood flow to the brain processing cells, its RAM and ROM.
I know you`ll be back... as T4!
Ma`asalaam (in spite of your deluded ideals)

ntsyed sahib,
.......... please don`t give up in your effort to show us the right path ............ you are following in the footsteps of our beloved prophet (pbuh) who was abused and cursed by this old woman until, one day, she realized the folly of her ways and submitted to the will of allah ......subhanallah !......... inshallah, sister zahraj too will see that this path she is on leads to nowhere ......... jazak allah khair

dear ntsyed sahib,
.......... this is a serious question ...... i had mentioned earlier about this invitation that we received to a wedding which instructs/requests the guests to wear proper islamic dress including hijab ........... now, we have known this family for a long time, long before they discovered islam in saudi arabia where they lived for four years before returning to the usa ........... actually, we have some family pictures that show the lady of the house in tight jeans and other revealing western dresses which she used to wear when she was fifteen years younger and fifty pounds lighter ........ mrs hamidm says that the woman is a hypocrite and a fat cow (her words, not mine) and refuses to go out and shop for a hijab or mess up her hair in order to accomodate her friend ........... personally i don`t have any problem even though i think it is kind of cheap and mean of muslims to have a wedding without an open bar - but i am all for going to the wedding because i know the food will be good and since the wedding is in a hotel i can always sneak off to the bar (you would be surprised how many good practicing muslims you can find there !) ............
.......... but really, what should we do ?.......... is mrs hamidm wrong in refusing to look like a ``frumpy islamic nun`` in public (her words) ? ....... we are on the hump of a dilemma because we have known these people for a long time and don`t want to hurt their feelings ......... what should we do?
