LIAR, Y Liar H,
Change your name from Mantolives.....a LIAR like u shouldn`t be associated with a great writer like Manto,
He bequeathed largely self-earned assets including the prestigious Dyal Singh Mansions on the Mall Road and other properties in Lahore, Karachi, Amirtsar and Gurdaspur districts, worth Rs.30 lakh, in 1898 to two trusts that later established the Dyal Singh College and Dyal Singh Library in Lahore.
After the partition of the country in 1947, Dyal Singh College and Dyal Singh Library in Lahore became government Dyal College and Dyal Singh Trust Library. While the names of many institutions in Pakistan were changed, it is a tribute to Dyal Singh`s transcendent qualities, that the Pakistan Government retained his name for the College and the public library.
You told me to dive in spit.....YOU should lick the spit....and in Punjabi ``mut ch dub mar``

Maybe, Urdu speaking people could not pronounce Bhagwan and started writing it differently.

parag:
just because the dude with multiple nicks is immature, and didn`t know that there was a punjab in pakistan, and that people in pakistan are just ``pakis`` and all the other useless crap he spouts. . . aidha ai matlab naeen ke tusi vhi odhay maaN di ainj zik`r karo. chaDD paRan os nu. ignore the pathetic boy, and be a little cooler under the collar. :).
and by the way does monitor manager not work anymore? you can control the posts you receive.
to our lovely bhenpaRa (that`s brothers and sisters for the uncomprehending) across the border:
rather than making assumptions which make asses out of you and me as the saying goes. . .from sketchy information that you have, why don`t you just ask questions and the lahoris will be more than glad to give an explanation. And while we`re on the subject of name changes and all, why is lahore still called lahore? and veeresh, you`re exempt from that question thank you!
this is so annoying.

Dear MaheshG...
Why don`t you check up on it.... and see if Danesh Kineria ever wrote ``Danish``.... His name was always Danesh Parbharkar Kineria...
Ofcourse to a bigot and a liar... a simple explanation that proves his biases correct would do...
Yet, Miraculously that`s how all web-sites spell his name.

Manto Sahib, I admit my mistake if I make one.
When did I become a bigot anyway?

And what websites are those ?
How about Looking at the official name of the player?
Or are you scared your petty little Gandhian biases will be broken for ever?

No... there wasn`t!
As with Baghbanpura ... you`ve messed up royally once more.
Am I talking about Baghbanpura? Was a college`s name changed after partition or not? Kaurasach posted a link.
Just admit it. There have been many cases of name changes after partition.
And I do admit that I was pleasantly surprised that many names have been retained even if they were blatantly Hindu sounding names.
I did my part. I hope you are man enough to do yours :)

Since the weirdo with dots and lines keeps interrupting...
Kauray...
Tell me where in what you have posted does it say that the name Diyal Singh College was maintained because of a trust... and not out of respect?
There is also a commercial building named after the man ... on Mall road ... where the famous Shezan restaurant is... its called ``Diyal Singh Mansion``... what trust is there?
I know of atleast 100 buildings in Lahore alone with Hindu and Sikh names... all of them owned by Muslims now... why do you think they are still called by those names?

I am doing my part... you are NOT doing yours...
Criticizing someone else is not doing your part... when your own house is in utter and total disorder...
So please tend to your own problems...

The attitude shown by Indians on this board and the previous one by Parag has been narrow minded and extremely combative for no reason. Parag went to Pakistan to visit his ancestral home. The people treated him with great hospitality and warmth, even though he was a stranger there. That is a nice gesture and we must appreciate that. I am sure when Pakistanis visit India, they have the same kind of experience. Somehow we have turned this into an opportunity to attack Parag, his Pakistani hosts, dig up all kinds of communal issues, which is completely uncalled for.
What was so objectionable about his experience in Pakistan, that we should all get angry and start quarelling?
