criticizing India, the realities of Indian life and the Indian state is a very Indian thing to do. I do not have to procure your permission or prove that I am a loyal Indian citizen or that I cry hot tears at the plight of X Y or Z group in order to validly criticize. There is a body of opinion that states that wounded national pride can trump anything, even solid, reasoned, supported arguments or community standards of behaviour. Kindly approach the FCC, Interpol, the Home Ministry and the State Department and try and set in motion the investigations that you have mentioned. If you cannot abide by the rules of the forum, which, demonstrably, you have not, then I suggest that you either mend your ways or that the forum administration take action against you.

This forum provides a platfrom for insidious attacks against the honour of an entire nation, and it is the duty of its` citizens to defend that honour.Those individuals who make insidious insinuations against my country open themselves to insinuations by those seeking to defend their country.And, for this site to block access selectively is to not practice what they purport to preach, namely freedom of speech and expression.That only means that India and indians are targeted by those running this site.Maybe, the FCC and the justice dept. should be made aware about this site , interpol and the indian home ministry, so they can find out the antecedents of those individuals who insinuate and besmirch the honour of an entire nation.The individuals who run this site should be researched so we can find out how open minded and fair they are in thier representation of anyone other than themselves.How can they claim that this site is open to all south asians and then exclude those who call them on their hypocracy?. My question to chowk staff is :

Despite blatantly and repeatedly violating the guidelines set forth by this website, which I have been reading long before prashant123 became a member, no action has been taken so far against him. What, if any, action is contemplated ? Can we expect that you will live up to your assertion that posts that even include words or masked references that are offensive, crude, repugnant, or obscene will be duly deleted ? Can we reasonably expect that those who gratuituously violate all stated standards and all standards of decency be not allowed to vitiate the atmosphere ?

prashant123, please show how your posts are in consonance with Interact Guidelines.

.....My observations are based on the interacts of the individual in question.He is always demeaning and condescending towards india, supposedly his homeland.This whole site has been hijacked by individuals who for whatever reason, have resentment against india and indians.Even this writer does not write about malaysia , an islamic country rounding up illegal indonesians, from another islamic country and throwing them out like stray dogs the next day.meanwhile, we indians are always the subject of some barbed criticism and censure.Shame.Nothing personal against anyone.I am just defending the honour of my country.

if the supposedly rational and logical would comment on the chief ministers` 3 points, (specifically the 2nd, since only denials/mocking seem to be coming on that front) then others will take note...

further, if tears shedding for bangladeshis is devoid of any comments on the treatment meted out to its hindu population and its reasons for migration to india, then the motives for tears shedding remain suspect.

farzana has time and inclination to interview palestinian refugees in india but when asked (on chowk) if she ever bothered to interview a hindu refugee from b`desh...her reply was `oh i don`t know about them`...

now she writes an article about refugees from b`desh without one sympathetic look at its hindus...and the readers are supposed to be sympathetic to her feelings?

Bangladeshis are poor, most of them are Muslim, they want to come into India, they want to destroy India, we dont want em, they have a country that apparently kicked us out/ was wrested from us, we should cut off their water supply, the govt of india wont do anything about them, why cant citizens roam about the jungles with guns and pick em off as they wander in [btw, the person who offered that suggestion ought to have looked at the geography and politics of the two places before offering it]. besides this, farzana, dost mittar and aha-snark are anti national and should drop dead. oh, and if aha-snark has an opinion and persists in sticking to it and can offer rational and logical reasons for doing so - well, the answer is simple: he must have a bangladeshi immigrant for a girlfriend. coz you can only ever have political or humanitarian views if you`re trying to bonk someone. following this post, i have no doubt that there will be a few dozen epithets thrown at my head also. i look forward to the predictability.

unfortunately, none of this is addressing anything other than your own psychoses. that border is going to remain as difficult to patrol as it has ever been, poor bangladeshis are going to continue coming into india and the bangladeshi govt will continue to deny it while jehadi camps flourish secretly. just as india and pak are tentatively set on a road to peace, b`desh is set to be the new security concern. what india needs at this moment is less frothing at the mouth and more maturity. and hopefully, india`s external affairs is waking up to that.
