cheating in sats is a problem - this article however, is a bigger one.
really, even `dawn staffers` do a better job.

I know people who have paid others to take their SAT for them. After having made their fake passports ofcourse.

4 years ago the rates were like 5000 rs and a guaranteed 1400 plus score.

4 or 5 years ago there was a GRE racket in Islamabad. 20,000 rupees with a 2200 score, money back guarantee in case the score was below 2200.

Well, Miss Maliha, this article will for sure be a big problem for you incase someone from the ETS reads it. If you think that you might have scored better while cheating, I suggest you study harder for the next one. Or you might just be jealous of someone you know who cheated and got a better score. Happen, its what we all call `life.`

I`d agree with Maliha here.. since i have overheard many of my fellow students who non-fortunately couldnt get their test center as Lahore and had to move to ISB.. they were told to have a break for 5-6 minutes and were allowed to go out of the hall. People literally wrote the answers down on their palms and then used it to ``answer`` the aptitude test.

When i took the SAT II i myself was given a chance to participate in a cheating fiesta.. although i did dictate the answers to a few of my peers however when trying to do it myself i dont know but a false sense of consciousness prevailed upon me and i just couldnt. The point just mentioned was not to elevate me to the level of a saint but that at times ``oppurtunities`` also exist within Lahore.

Plus there have been many times when people have actually registered for 3 tests and used that time to really ace 2 of their subjects.

I would testify to the ``Satisfaction guaranteed`` testing that people are doing these days where many have given enough dough to ace it.

There is however a positive change in the SAT test which i welcome with open arms is the inclusion of the essay component which will to a great degree atleast check cheating to a degree.

Re: # 9
it the ETS people read it.. my work will be done..I need them to read it and see what authorities in Pakistan are doing to their misplaced trust. And, as to what problems I would have.. dont you worry :) , I am a journalist and know how to handle such stuff. Oh yeah, for the jealousy part, for your info, I never took the SAT myself...and really when arguing about something, the lowest u can go is to strike a blow at the other person`s personality. Shows how solid your argument is, really :)

And, yeah Nabeel.. you are right.. I only wish more people had a conscience. I mean how can you make a career our of cheating... and never feel guilty about it?
