Re: # 10 {``... Gold and silver are the most stable currency the world has ever seen...``}

Oh my god, finally there is someone else on Chowk who also sees this, though for somewhat different reasons...

I went blue in the face back in 2002, 2003 discussing the merits of the gold dinar on Chowk.

But its not just the US dollar, its EVERY fiat based paper currency, including the euro and the yen that are worthless pieces of confetti.

IN GOLD WE TRUST

Ayaan Hirsi is a self-proclaimed apostate; her ignorance of Islam is clear in every thing she says and writes. No one gives a shite about that stupid w.h.o.r.e. ; only the kanjars and wannabe kanjars are lionising her. The Islamic world and Muslims themselves ignore her just like it doesn`t effect the moon if someone spits at it--they only dirty their own faces.

It is desperate islam haters like you, theo, who are trying your best to bring her to everyone`s attention. People who matter just ignore her.

To the continuing dismay of people like yourself and her, Islam continues to get more and more converts in the West and everywhere else every single day DESPITE all the negative Islamophobic propaganda against it by the likes of that dumb biyach.

Ouch! That must be painful for you...

Echoboom

The Devil has put a woman amongst us who makes you pee in your pants and your colostomy bag overflow. Her name is Ayaan Hirsi Ali and she is paid by the Jews in Dollars and Gold Dinars.

When is Alaah going to give his sons Superman Powers? I want to know.

Daisycutters falling from the sky.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali chasing them screaming.

Its like a Benny Hill sketch.

Your article reminds me of Aijaz Ahmad`s `Afghanistan and the Imperialism of our Times` where he decodes the American plot. More interesting is the way he talks about Iraqi resistance, how it`s been cobbled together and been grossly underplayed by the Western media. Ahmad`s argument is incisive and provocative, even if we do away with the Marxist spin.

Naqshbandi

Allah doesnt seem to be a very good planner. At the moment, his children are being spanked wholesomely.

When is he going to bless you all with superpowers so you can give some back to all the Jews and Kuffr who have you jumping about like donkey`s with your tails on fire?

What`s Allah waiting for?

Well, I am still trying to figure out what implications Mr. Hasnat is talking about?
He says in the end ``whatever happens in Iraq has serious repercussions`` but never tells us what those repercussions are.

The only implication I see is that slowly many regimes in and around the ME would understand the importance of democracy and civilian rules.

I also have problem calling the suicide bombing in Iraq as urban warfare. In Urban warfare, the urban population resists alien forces and both parties are involved in some sort of combat in the city streets. In Iraq, one or two suicide bombers attack the civilian areas and occasionally one or two US army personnel are killed by sniper fire.
Is this urban warfare? Most of the terrorists appear to be former Iraqi Army men, as they seem to have good tech expertise in exploding bombs.
Those who still live in the delusional world of Jihad should know that there is no Jihad taking place in Iraq. Only a handful few are trying to save their privileges.

Good observations. Look, they are not `insurgents`, or a few al-Qaida terrorists only as the White House and their controlled Media would have you believe; all honest reporters/observers (eg Fisk, Pilger, Chomsky, Galloway) admit that 99% of the resistance is coming from ordinary Iraqis who simply want to rid their country of an invading and occupying force . Once the American armies get out of Iraq the resistance will stop itself. As long as US troops are there and occupying the land (often brutally) no amount of window dressing will make the freedom fighters and mujahids stop their attacks. The Iraqi people aren`t stupid. They know a puppet government when they see one.

The Americans went in there for oil and also to for strategic reasons: control of Iraq gives them control of the second largest proven oil reserves after Arabistan; military bases for their army so they can attack anywhere in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia(`s oil fields) and Iran; protect their `friend` and controller Israel; and making sure they can invade any land in that area they like if they see fit (Iran, then Syria). Also they control the region`s energy supplies and can thus stop China accessing them.

It is all part of the neo-cons agenda to reshape the Middle East to stop political Islam gaining power (which is why they will never allow real democracy in the Islamic world because if they did that then every single country from Morocco to Pakistan would have anti-American, Islamic government`s based on the Shariah; which is why they talk of democratising the Mid East on the one hand and support the most brutal dictators on the other such as Mubarak and Co.)

BUT

The infidels plan and Allah plans and Allah is the best planner....
