Beena, nothing wrong about the issue that you have chosen but ma`am, cut that typical drawingroom radical lingo and tone. Doesn`t suit you.

Beena - this was interesting... I had no idea it even existed. Does anyone know whether this can be found outside Mumbai?

India is full of interesting and fascinating people, famous, not so famous and infamous.Mumbai especially is a collage of the indian diaspora. It is the New York of India. We indians should be proud of our country and each other. As an indian -american, i chose to move to Mumbai for a while and fell in love with the city and the country.I live there now and would never live anywhere else.My family too concurs with me.I`m in my hometown of newyork now and am bored with the monotony of the place, which was once vibrant and thrilling , is now an immigrant dump full of third world scroungers trying to scrape morsels from the remnants that remain of the American pie.Sad.Most immigrants from india in the US now are from the villages and how different they are from urban indians. When i go to `Little India` and interact with these people , i wonder where they come from. And, then i realize the disconnect between urban and rural indians. And, then i realize the many layers that make up India. You find people like Bina Elias and Lalu Prasad Yadav carrying the same passport. That makes india even more fascinating to me.
