I am all for introducing american football in Pakistan. Cricket is as passe as the British Empire. Americans are our new masters. And its about time we updated ourselves.

And before anyone jumps the gun, yes, I am all for replacing cricket with baseball as well. Inzamam and Afridi need not worry about a layoff. Their skills are transferable, given the similarities between cricket and baseball. Afridi may even become the biggest home runner. Shoaib Akhtar has all the necessary skills to become a viable pitcher.

Do I hear Pakistan in Super Bowl by 2020?

Football is one of those sports that you don`t really have to ardently follow the game in order to enjoy it.Watching the ball being kicked around is infectious. Many a time id tune into a french channel just to watch their domestic games.Didnt know the teams, dont know the language....still fun to watch...!!

Cricket is just so obscenely strong in pak that it dwarfs every other sport.Twenty20 for cricket was a big success, why not try similar domestic matches for footbal in pak..who knows..
