Re: # 24 Dear lady, imagine if someone from Urstruly, Echoboom or Naqshbandi`s tribe ever quoted some Quranic verses, and ventured to elucidate them in an attempt to spread God`s massage, what sort of treatment would they receive at the hands of Mr Paracha and the likes? To what extent could they be rediculed and bashed by these self-poclaimed beacons of peace and professors of a Godless Earth?
The trouble is not the belief, but the espousing and imposing of it on others, even if that involves blasphemy and desecration of other people`s beliefs or theocracies.
I haven`t even attempted to pay the devil his due. :)

i think while others are castigating you for writing about a godless earth (as if you are the only one who`s written about it!), godot may be the only one who has seen this, as i do, as a satire. and the dialogue doesn`t mar the piece here. . . it is still a rough plot afterall.

a godless earth though? even with the presence of ``that force somewhere, or anywhere but our hearts`` we have turned people into gods, ideas into gods, ones we ditch (and vice-versa) when we don`t serve each other`s purposes. the ongoing battle (according to certain beliefs) is for earth, and our hearts, but there are those of us who like jesus at the end of this, are confused, what is ``god`s will`` all about, and what the heck is all this about free will?! and what is our will in the face of the will of the leaders who say they will deliver us or bring us so much closer to ``a peaceful earth``?

i mean look at you, you`re a peddler, and there are those who elevate you to such heights, it`s damn near embarrassing. you`re human like the rest of us, who has ideas that people may or may not agree with. obviously ``heresy`` is not tolerated well here. i should be upset that you had god turn jesus into mud!!!

If a man does not find any evidence that he was created by a God, he creates his own God/Gods. God is inevitable for the human society!

Three fourth of the world`s human population bears a conviction tha God exists in some form, and half of them undoubtedly adhere to this belief wihhout any enforcement, and are contended with it. And an N F Paracha sneaks out from some anonymous nook of the world and is bent upon turning the world Godless, does that make any sense?

supersize, its strange that instead of posing this question to the writer, who frequently responds on his boards, you would ask other people! Is it because you think NFP is too high and mighty an entity to be directly posed a question to?

I also heard a few interactors previously talk about how NFP represents the ``unrealized dreams of a generation``. That literally threw me out of my chair. Granted, I have been living in Boston for a while, but still, I believe I am fully in touch with Pakistan. Why didnt I ever hear of this ``unrealized dream`` untill I registered on Chowk a year ago?? Why is it that his below-average at best articles garner such strong adulations from a certain group, the same group considers itself not worthy enough to pose direct questions to NFP?

NFP, you`re quite a genius and that has never been an issue. Do not get derided by close mindedness of some people who typically get scared of what you stand for and advocate.

I loved this play. It is one of your finest articles on chowk.

In traditional Christian theology, Lucifer was once second in command to God. However, he lusted after God`s position and wished to be first. He led a revolt against God and led as many as ``one third`` of the other angels. He lost and was banished to the Earth to roam until Judgment Day. His followers were the fallen angels and became demons and evil spirits. The Book of Revelation states that Lucifer and his followers will be banished to Hell forever. This is usually called ``The First War In Heaven.``
The play takes place in a second such war.

Nicely written. The fuzzy-boundries of good and evil were portrayed quite well. However, the whole story climaxes to a flawed conclusion. The two lines ``A godless Earth. A peaceful Earth.`` Up until that point it was a good story; and then it became humanist/athiest propoganda. We all know that humans are flawed and complex. Our capability of performing extremes and the ability to affect others on larger scales than any other animal is the reason why the concept of a peaceful earth is elusive. To an equal degree, our Earth IS a godless earth as much as it is one with God. And no distinction can be made of insanity, stupidity and desire on either side.

Oh..and..it is not necessary for God to actually talk to Adam or Eve or any other human for us to conceive/know of him. So even in a godless Earth, where humans where never contacted by a God (whether existing or not), some of them would naturally turn to reach out to a higher unifying entity that could conceptually tie in the vastness and complexity of this universe.

Some would say this is because God is not a distinct separate being that he can just isolate himself from us, but is inherently the foundation of reality.

Anywho, the Angel/Demons war concept is something that really interests me (e.g. the movie Constantine) and maybe if you could write about the 2 wars in detail..that would be neat.

Alright here now come the self claimed keepers of the faith and god`s soldiers with their typical narrow minded crys of blasphemy, naqsh saab I have very high respect for you so please do not destroy my respecting image of you by making noises the kind we in Pakistan are sick of hearing from so many myopic mulaas. If you read carefully it is clear that the story is suggesting the end of god Satan and religion as we know it and doing so for what god originally stood for.

Cleverly done. Liked the way the author puts both forces of ``good`` and ``evil`` on the same boat.
