Re: # 17
to ther author: it is not the content nor the idea but the disrespectful tone adapted towards the nabis and payambars and malaaika which made your piece so hard to swallow...

Naqshbandi bhai:

take it easy. Yea, we murtids are gonna get burned in hell, i`ll be asking welding supervisors for a spark or two to light up my joints in between pyro sessions so yea it will be all good.

I think you should upgrade us to Munafiqs cos the pyro intensity a Munafiq gonna get in hell is supposedly way too higher than murtids, kaafirs combined. has got more bite to it, you know.

cheers man.

NFP: i have not read your play so i got no comments. :-)

wama alaina illal balagh.

NFP, you`re quite a genius and that has never been an issue. Do not get derided by close mindedness of some people who typically get scared of what you stand for and advocate.

I loved this play. It is one of your finest articles on chowk.

Love,
Ameena

#7 by supersize asks ``kindly anyone please tell me a bit about all these other demons and angels whose names NFP has used here.``

supersize, its strange that instead of posing this question to the writer, who frequently responds on his boards, you would ask other people! Is it because you think NFP is too high and mighty an entity to be directly posed a question to?

I also heard a few interactors previously talk about how NFP represents the ``unrealized dreams of a generation``. That literally threw me out of my chair. Granted, I have been living in Boston for a while, but still, I believe I am fully in touch with Pakistan. Why didnt I ever hear of this ``unrealized dream`` untill I registered on Chowk a year ago?? Why is it that his below-average at best articles garner such strong adulations from a certain group, the same group considers itself not worthy enough to pose direct questions to NFP?

If a man does not find any evidence that he was created by a God, he creates his own God/Gods. God is inevitable for the human society!

Three fourth of the world`s human population bears a conviction tha God exists in some form, and half of them undoubtedly adhere to this belief wihhout any enforcement, and are contended with it. And an N F Paracha sneaks out from some anonymous nook of the world and is bent upon turning the world Godless, does that make any sense?

Re: # 24 Dear lady, imagine if someone from Urstruly, Echoboom or Naqshbandi`s tribe ever quoted some Quranic verses, and ventured to elucidate them in an attempt to spread God`s massage, what sort of treatment would they receive at the hands of Mr Paracha and the likes? To what extent could they be rediculed and bashed by these self-poclaimed beacons of peace and professors of a Godless Earth?
The trouble is not the belief, but the espousing and imposing of it on others, even if that involves blasphemy and desecration of other people`s beliefs or theocracies.
I haven`t even attempted to pay the devil his due. :)

nadeem:

this was not ``below average``. not original, but not below average. :)

i think while others are castigating you for writing about a godless earth (as if you are the only one who`s written about it!), godot may be the only one who has seen this, as i do, as a satire. and the dialogue doesn`t mar the piece here. . . it is still a rough plot afterall.

a godless earth though? even with the presence of ``that force somewhere, or anywhere but our hearts`` we have turned people into gods, ideas into gods, ones we ditch (and vice-versa) when we don`t serve each other`s purposes. the ongoing battle (according to certain beliefs) is for earth, and our hearts, but there are those of us who like jesus at the end of this, are confused, what is ``god`s will`` all about, and what the heck is all this about free will?! and what is our will in the face of the will of the leaders who say they will deliver us or bring us so much closer to ``a peaceful earth``?

i mean look at you, you`re a peddler, and there are those who elevate you to such heights, it`s damn near embarrassing. you`re human like the rest of us, who has ideas that people may or may not agree with. obviously ``heresy`` is not tolerated well here. i should be upset that you had god turn jesus into mud!!!

best,
ana

p.s. i had no idea that karachi was such an anonymous nook of the world! as for NFP ``bent`` on turning the world godless, there are those who already believe that the world is godless -- would you believe, they`re called atheists!

#25:
yea.. chusni saahib and other worship tv network types should write long treatises on eg. the importance of saving humanity from Hellfire.. more power to them. and yea thrash NFP`s godless agenda to your heart`s content.

more power to you too... ! (no puns here)

NFP: i still havent read your play so errm... i dont think i should be writing a comment . :-)

#28 - I alluded to the same possibility last year. Although I was new to Chowk and not familiar with many interactors, still it was hard to miss the loud ear drum bursting adulations that were being shouted by a certain group for each and every mediocre article NFP was putting out. What I particularly found strange was the shared trait of NFP and these interactors of playing up NFP`s past as ``Zia -ul Haq`s prisoner`` and ``legendary drug habits`` and his ``marxist/anarchist`` associations, as if it was some sort of badge of honor.

This is what I wrote last year, after I had had enough of this:

Ok fine. Kill me for saying this but Nass, Warlus, and Feedback are in fact Paracha himself. I skimmed through their previous interacts and lo! 90% of all of their interacts are in regards to Paracha. All these interactors mysteriously appear each time Paracha writes an article, and they all talk about paracha`s alleged bouts of ``breakdowns`` and ``drugs`` and ``zia -ulhaq`s jails`` etc etc.

So here is my certified theory. Paracha is himself writing all these interacts on Paracha`s board to create some sort of `cult figure` around Paracha.

Man is biggest culprit why blame God or his faith? Weakness in you that you look towards
west theory of seperate faith and society so must look in your self first.

I saw God!

God is very big--some sources claim he is even as tall as 6`2``.

God could quite easily create a rock so heavy that not even He could lift it. He just doesn`t want to.

God is frequently confused with Justain Timberlake.

God doesn`t mind his job, because all he always really wanted to do is write sitcoms.

God invented the sport of lacrosse.

God smells like rain.

God burps like men.

God eats babies.

God may acually be synonomous with Clint Eastwood.

And Satan

1. And Lucifer was cast out of heaven. 2. And Lucifer, henceforth referred to as Satan, did rebel against God, and He proclaimed, `I shall take this creation, the Earth, and I shall make it my own`. 3. And God smiled, for He knew that Satan would not be able to do such a thing. 4. And Satan was not hasty in his actions. 5. He did regard mankind, and He saw a flaw. 6. `Humans are easily tempted,` He proclaimed, `so I shall created something they cannot resist, and it shall turn them to me, and I shall gain their souls`. 6. So Satan made His toilet, but collected the effluent. 7. He placed it into bottles, and created on Earth a place called a bar. 8. He placed these bottles in the bar, and watched, as humans came. 9. He laughed as he saw them drink, and become intoxicated, and smiled as he saw the effect - addiction, fighting, and raping. 11. He rejoiced as He saw these humans becoming lost, who at their deaths would swell His infernal ranks.

And thus was Budweiser created. And God wept.
