Usually, long poems give me the creeps. I always have to force myself to go through them. But this one is an exception. I simply floated through it. Lovely poem Temporal !

temporal mian,

......... once in a poem comes along that makes me rethink my position on poets - that they should all be beaten over the head with their books .......... this was one of them ..... very nice ..........

see, i told you ........ you guys can do it if you keep it simple ...... :)

moucho gracias for appreciating my tribute to the indomitable spirit of that gentleman who fights for his independence in the face of nature’s onslaught that a few of us will hopefully face someday

Chowk Staff - Why hasn`t Saminasha been banned permanently?

This is what she posted in her own ``WTF`` thread:

temporal...
Your splendid poem moved me but conversely it also lifted my spirits to discover that there are such humane and sensitive people as you in today`s blood-soaked world. You have also encouraged me to submit a couple more poems of my own that bear some relation to yours. Many thanks. mirmir

temporal!
such minute detailed poem! loved it in your ilog then...
really touching and inspiring remindes me of one landord in nearby village who used to take out his batwa from where you can guess and then so much layered it was to show his shanakti card and the kaghazat of zameen he hid in them :)

I liked it – it is highly moving, not to mention descriptive!

Oh, how often we have seen scenes like that!

It doesn’t matter what the illness or condition – there are two certainties in life in these our home countries – most patients have to haul themselves into the clinic and the impersonal business of paperwork must be addressed first!

Being the “naughty” person that I am – let me add the following “tail”! (Don’t throw anything at me, please!)

“…and the nurse
took a close look
and sorry, sir
said she with a frown
this card has expired
please go over
to charity hospital
located on other
side of town
(and muttered
who knows where
he came from
this clown)”
