I like sufism `cause you and whirl and twirl and get on a high and space out of the daily and the mundane, for a while atleast. No substance abuse here ala `ganja` and `bhang` like some hindus do. All religions had an escape route and that was the main attraction in the good old days.Nowadays we have many diversions at the tip of our fingers and the business of religion has also changed.I don`t know or understand the higgledyposh (hadith et alia). I don`t want to either.I want to live.

A reply to the Qadianis from the Qur`an and Sunnah
There are more than a hundred verses in the holy Qur`aan in support of the belief of ``Khatm-e-Nubuwwat`` (finality of prophethood). Since this article is being written in a short and comprehensive manner, I will quote just three verses.
1. This day I have perfected your religion for you, computed my favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islaam as your religion.
Soorah 5, Verse 4
It is evident from this verse that Allah Ta’aala has completed the religion of Islaam for this Ummah, therefore, there is no need for a new prophet after the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
2. Say! O people! I am sent unto you all as the apostle of Allah. . .
Soorah 7, Verse 158
The word ``all`` in this verse clarifies that the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam has been sent for the entire humanity till the Day of Judgement. Thus, this is a clear announcement of the ``finality of prophethood.``
3. We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to mankind giving them glad-tidings and warning them (against sin ), but most people understand not.
Soorah 34, Verse 28
In this verse the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam has been mentioned as a ``Universal`` messenger. Therefore, there is no need for another prophet after the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
Commentary of the Verses through Ahaadeeth
The belief of ``Khatm-e-Nubuwwat`` (finality of prophethood) has also been stressed in a number of Ahaadeeth which reach the sublime degree of Tawaatur (continuty). That is why Allaamah Aaloosi rahmatullahi alayh has said:
``And the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam being the final prophet is a belief based on what the Qur`aan has described, and the Sunnah has stated clearly and the (Consensus) Ijmaa`a of the Ummah. Therefore the claimant or the believer of a belief other than this will be declared a kaafir and killed if he insists.
(Roohul Ma`aani, Page 65, Volume 7)
Now, we will quote a few authentic Ahaadeeth for the benefit of the readers.
1.
``My likeness and the likeness of the prophets before me is the likeness of a person who built a house and made it complete and beautiful, except the place of a brick in a corner. So people began to go around it and wonder at it and say, ``Why has not this brick been placed?`` (The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, ``I am the brick and I am the last of the prophets.``
Bukhaari, Page 501, Volume 2
Muslim, Page 248, Volume 2
2.
``The Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam said to Ali radhiyallahu anhu, ``You stand to me in the same relation as Haaroon alayhis salaam stood to Moosaa alayhis salaam, except that there is no prophet after me. ``
Bukhaari, Page 633, Volume 2
Muslim, Page 278, Volume 2
3.
``Verily, the apostle-ship and prophethood has finished. So there is no apostle and no prophet after me.``
Tirmizi
4.
``I am the last of the prophets and you are the last of the Ummahs (nations).``
Ibne Maajah, Page 307
5.
``....Verily, thirty liars will be born in my Ummah; every one of them will claim to be a prophet, though I am the last of the prophets, and there will be no prophet after me.``
Tirmizi, Page 45, Volume 2
There are more than 200 authentic Ahaadeeth which support the belief of ``Khatm-e-Nubuwwat`` (finality of prophethood). Hence, this doctrine is decidedly and unanimously acknowledged an article of faith in Islaam. At the same time I would like to draw your attention particularly towards the last Hadeeth where the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, besides confirming this belief in hundreds of his sayings, clearly predicted that claimants to prophethood will be born in his Ummah after him. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam has, therefore, warned the Muslims to beware of such impostors and always keep in mind that: ``I am the last of the prophets``, which obviously means that, ``there will be no prophet of any kind after me. ``

in reply to sattar:
Bashir Ahmad, the son of Mirza Ghulam, wrote in his biography:
``My mother informed me that `the first attack of looseness of bowels upon the Promised Messiah occurred when he was at his dining room table. Later, I started pressing his legs and he lay in comfort and slept and soon I too slept. After a short while, he again felt the call of nature and he used the bathroom a couple of times without awakening me, After this he felt very weak; he shook me up and laid down on my bed. I recommenced pressing. In a few minutes he told me to go to bed but I refused and continued to press. Once again he had an urge and, being too weak to go to the lavatory, I made arrangement for him close to the bed. He sat down and relieved himself. Next, he laid himself back on my bed and I started pressing again. His weakness grew intense; he had another motion, accompanied this time by vomiting. This paralyzed him so much that when trying to lay back on the bed, he fell on his back and hit his head on the bed post. His condition alarmed me...`.``
(Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 1, P. 11-12; Sirat-ul-Mehdi, P.109)
Mirza Ghulam`s father in law, Mir Nasir Nawab, recorded in his autobiography:
``The night his holiness fell ill, I was sleeping in my room. When his illness grew severe, they woke me up. I went over to his holiness and found him in great pain. He addressed me saying: `I have been stricken with cholera.` After this, he did not utter a single intelligible and coherent word till he died on Monday, after ten O`clock in the morning.``
(Hayat-i-Nasir, P. 14)
Mirza Ghulam used to say that cholera or plague is the sign of Allah(SWT)`s wrath on mankind for their wrong doing! It is fitting that his last words were the admission that he had been stricken with the disease he was so fearful of. The witnesses present at his bed side recorded:
``Huzoor (Mirza Ghulam) could not talk two hours before death. Dr. Mirza Yaqoob Baig and Dr. Syed Mohammad Hussei Shah were the attending physicians. Huzoor asked for paper and wrote on it: `I have too much dryness. I can`t talk.` and some other words which could not be read.``
(Al-Fazl, Vol. 25, No. 274, November 24, 1937)
``As his condition became precarious, we stayed by him and continued treatment, but his pulse stopped by 10:15 A.M., on the 26th May, 1908 he breathed his last.``
(Al-Hakam, Mary 28, 1908)
We can not imagine what Mirza Ghulam might have felt when the hour of death approached and Allah(SWT) shut his mouth and tongue so that he could neither repent (proclaim Kalima) nor utter any more lies.

Hazrat Sarmad Shaheed: The Naked Sufi Martyr
Mr Naqasbandi, let me remind you, above is, topic of ``what you wrote``. And you are trying to spread the notion that this is ``sufism``
Real Sufi`s are miles away from naked ness. It is the heart

And Islam never has a dry patch of Literate poeple, recepient of devine guidance.

Mr. Naqsbandi,
Scholars Vs Sufis, has always been the contention, scholars with dry words and rules, real-sufi with essense and comprehensive understanding of Islam.
Then I see your attempt to define ``Wahee`` and ``Illahaat``, based on what? from which source? fragment of your imagination? from limited reading of ``half baked scholar``.
Let me help you, Quran says that ``Earth will be given ``wahee`` on day-of-Zalzal``.
How can you and your naked-faqir, high on opium, can understand these things, it requires pure heart of a sufi to understand these things, as Quran says.
And one last hit on your ignorance; did you say Quran is for Muslims? are you awake? or else what were you smoking when said this. This shows depth of ignorance; darkness.

Reminds me about Archimedes of Greece and his famous Eureka. There defintely was a state of his mind where he forgot everything and danced naked in the streets. What was that?

Condom vending machines to hit Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Insert a coin before you undertake another misadventure! This may be the advice given by the Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS) gives to sex workers. View: Sify offbeat special
Especially to target sex workers and their customers, the society, in tie up with the Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust, will install 50 condom vending machines at major cities like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode this week.
Two pieces of condoms will eject from the machine once a one rupee coin is inserted into it. Initially, social marketing brands such as Nirodh will be made available through the vending machines.
If other players in the condom market comes forward to install similar machines, a wide range of condoms will be available.
“Our idea is to make available condoms round the clock. Now, there is a problem in getting it once shops are closed in the evening,” Dr S K Hari Kumar, manager of Kerala Condom Promotion Project, said.
One hundred such vending machines would be installed in a phased manner in various parts of the state at strategic locations, so that condoms are easily available to all, especially the high-risk groups.
The condom promotion project is an initiative of Hindustan Latex ltd., the largest condom maker in the public sector in India, to promote the message of protected or safe sex.
In the first phase, low socio-economic groups, especially high-risk groups such as commercial sex workers and homosexuals, were targeted. So only the subsidised social marketing brands such as Nirodh will be made available through the vending machines.
Reality is always stranger than fiction.

Asif,
This was torture. If you start writing this kind of convoluted stuff then you should be banned from Chowk. Half of this write-up is full of alqabaat and extensions of people`s names. I glanced through first 5 lines and last passage.

Every post after 67 is proof positive why innovation in the matters of faith is haraam; just a seemingly ``harmless`` concept of ilhaam turns into a fitna as vile and destructive as that of Quadianiyat. Why can`t the holy men be given just the status of teachers instead of something in the line of prophets and angels. After all teaching is the sunnah of Prophets and their status is equal to that of ones father or mother.

is there anything worse than the poor qadianis ?
urstruly states : ``innovation in the matters of faith is haraam; just a seemingly ``harmless`` concept of ilhaam turns into a fitna as vile and destructive as that of Quadianiyat``
........... and this is from a man who has happily embraced the recent ``innovations`` of suicidal and homicidal bombings ! .......... so what does he propose we do with the qadianis - kill, quarter, maime, or behead ? ............ i am sure sattar and his family are anxious to know what the faithful and vengeful megalomaniacs propose for them ! ...............
