You had expressed in an earlier post your regret at my being ``attacked`` (chowk style) for the crime of exchanging civil posts with you. Not to worry, sir. I cant stop someone on chowk from writing abuses (as Atif did, e.g.), just as I cant stop a madman (or perhaps just a bum pretending to be a madman?) from shouting abuses to strangers on the street either (as I saw happen at the place I used to work at). But, like normal people do in such cases, you just walk on by ignoring such filth.

But enough about them. I hope you will seriously consider the two legitimate issues Mr. t raised (multiple nicks, which are unfair to other posters since they are confusing; and on not crossing the line with female posters - and ignoring provocations as well).

Finally, I read your kind words about me. I find them to be quite accurate. :-) (Just kidding). In fact, I am so pleased at reading them, I think I will ask you to contribute them to my obituary the occassion to write it will no doubt present itself one day.

So let me use this opportunity to re-iterate that to Mr. Salim. I really hope he tries to control himself here (and ignore provocations that will no doubt continue from those who have nothing better to do) - since, as I said earlier, he is very intelligent (much more so than the ideology-driven posters on chowk who can only harp on their one-track party-line about the evil Pakistan or the evil west or some other bs) and can be genuinely funny and entertaining (a major reason many of us come to chowk to begin with).

Pakis, unfortunately, are very adept at alienating their own. First the Hindus and Sikhs who lived in Pakiland, then the Bengalis, then the Ahmedis, then Mohajirs, then Ismailis, other Shias, and now Baluchis, Kashmiris, Saraikis, and even Gilgitis and Baltistanis. Alienating one more of their own is not a major concern for them. I, however, have become much more appreciative of the freedoms that India offers. Much more than the economic progress, even more than the political maturity, it is the freedom of expression and an atmosphere of tolerance that distinguish India from Pakiland. Mr. Temporal and his gang of corrupt pseudo-liberal Paki oligarchs have caused me to be clearly in the Indian camp.

Mr. Temporal talks about ``scaring Chowkies away.`` If you remember, he tormented Mr. Ozer Khalid so much, that this young writer no longer visits Chowk. Ozer, like me was part Turkish, and perhaps that is the problem. Temporal and his supporters may be just racists and bigots - after all they hail from the Land of the Pure. They can`t believe that people do marry across racial divides. Well, my friend, we need to remind this hallucinating hooligan that being a Paki is now the lowest level of human existence on the planet. These Pakis are reviled for their corruption, their tyranny, their terroristic activities, and their miserably failed state. Being a Paki is nothing to crow about. If I were to invent a religious, ethnic, and national indentity for myself, I certainly would not select being a Moose Limb Paki. I speak the truth and these bigots can`t stand it.

I just hope that Mushy keeps whipping his danda on these errant Pakis and keeps them in line. They want to restore the ``good old`` days of Paki ``democracy`` when the privileged few looted the country and moved their ill-gotten gains to overseas accounts and holdings. That is why I oppose them and that is why they have silenced me.

If your aim is to muzzle the viewpoint of those with whom you disagree then you may have succeeded. I am going to listen to my wife`s advice. She has told me that when most Pakis (and one Indian) dislike me so much, why do I waste my time on Chowk, only to have my messages deleted while those of my opponents are left intact?

From now on I will not participate in any threads or start any threads of my own on Chowk UP. I do reserve the right to take part in discussions on interesting topics on FP.

While you may have prevailed on Chowk, a medium that you and your cohorts apparently control, the same is not true of Pakistan and its state.
