Sattar:
Lastly, I am glad the interacts served as a yoga retreat for you. You have definitely shown signs of improvement(pleasantness).
Just an advice: Don`t be so vulnerable that anyone can easily take advantage of you.
I don`t want to disregard your 3rd para in post # 363. I think you take your interactions on Chowk quite seriously. There are some aspects of any interaction that need to be taken seriously but there are others not worth causing any aggravation to yourself.
Hope you have a nice weekend.
Note: Thank you for your kind compliments.

I have been meaning to point out one item. Please do not burden my name with this ``Jee`` stuff. Chowk is already blessed with an irritating guy whose posts are stuffed with Jees. It`s annoying and ridiculous. I understand that your intent is different but please avoid that in any future interactions with me.
Regards,
Note: I couldn`t go past the Jee stuff therefore have not been able to read through the rest of your interact. I am sure you must have embellished a few points that I need to look into :)

Ok Zahra je … have it your way … (… I am giggling … shaking my head … and rolling up my eyes as I write this …)
… but I was being philosophical all along! Didn’t you read my ramblings about religious bent as well as personal failures (and to think I poured out my guts to a total stranger for nothing … this really hurts)? Frequent use of f-word belongs not to the religious part but to the failure part. Although I admit I find its frequent use quite liberating … and wish I could use it more openly at the office. Ok … so I have a foul mouth. But is this really so bad? Must you complain about every little thing that is wrong in this world??
On a somewhat serious note … earlier, way back, I apologized to you fearing that I may have gone too far in pinning a few jokes on you … and to clarify that my intentions were completely, absolutely, with a doubt, unconditionally … honorable. The “honorable intentions” part was important because you-know-who accused me of trying to pick up you-know-who!!!! My realization came within a day or so of my remarks … and I extended a sincere apology without any ifs and buts. Why would you think it was a sham??? Contrast this with his apology … where after being reminded several times … during which he reaffirmed his accusations … he makes light of the matter and calls it jokes that I took too seriously … before suggesting he never made such remarks! C’mon Zahra je … can’t you tell the difference?
And if tahmed will be sending his wife bonsai plants, do you really want me to take the same route … and send his wife bonsai plants? You know this will start another round of accusations (not to mention the use of f-word) … and him and I both will need to get aroma therapy … which will probably cost more than a dollar-ninety-nine … esp. since my hmo will probably refuse to pay for any of this ...
And if this new age fluff is a way to express emotions and feelings (here we go again) … what the heck were people doing before the internet and overnight shipping of bonsai plants? And if communication style is the problem … should we start communicating in java and html code? Do you also think shakespeare would have done better by writing dialogues in bullet format? I think we are witnessing the end of western civilization here.
Ok … ok … don’t get mad. Some of my comments are in jest and are not to be taken seriously. I hope you can tell which is which. In all honesty, I am glad for the exchange of posts we had. Even though you`re a little dense at times, you are a pretty cool person overall. You’d probably make a good marriage-counselor and a drinking buddy. Right now I could use both. So no sweat … take care … and peace out …

[... finally …
…and the world we live in is a lot more complicated than you think. ]
The world is NOT very complicated. The inhabitants make it more convoluted based on their unique communication styles. You were upset at a series of remarks by an interactor therefore you bombarded your posts with f words. Others may not choose that route - they may express their aggravation differently. Were you following some kind of religious ritual by repeating the f word? I just thought I would rub it in since you happened to promote your religious bent of mind. I did not realize that the f word was part of the religious bent of mind. How amusing!!!
What you consider new age stuff is basically a way to express human emotions and feelings. You are not obligated to follow the same rituals if you do not believe in them. But don`t start preaching against them since you do NOT know how to utilize them effectively.
Nothing wrong with that :)
Lastly, my final recommendation to you is to join a weekend long yoga retreat where you can only inhale fragranced candles and patchouli incense. California is blessed with such outdoor programs/activities. Rather than being a warrior on this board, I recommend that you stay in Warrior 1 and 2 poses for a day or two. You will be a different (more pleasant) Sattar.
Hey, do not forget to send me a nice thank you e-card(from hallmark) after you realize the benefits. Oh, lest I forget, hallmark e-cards are FREE. You can save your $1.99 for some other good work.
Take Care.

Sattar:
For a change, you are being philosophical. That`s a good sign. You have a point here since you were the one who was hurt. I am an observer but I have also encountered a similar but less severe scenario.
I do not believe that people say sorry for no reason. I would never say sorry to someone if I didn `t mean it. I would care less for anyone on this board or anywhere else. It`s an internal call. In the same token, I do not believe that tahmed extended an apology to you for no reason. Probably, he realized his own weakness and truly meant to apologize. Why is it so difficult to give him the benefit of doubt here?
Just to jog your memory: You had apologized to me way back for something as well. I was not in the loop regarding why you brought my name into the conversation so I ended up seeing an apology from you. I could have taken your apology as a sham. I did not. I have rarely conversed with you, so I was not even sure why you brought my name into the picture. I think it is the same article where TAhmed had made his remark. I hope you can connect the links now. If not then you need to consult your physician for further instructions on your overall well being!
Lastly, either you have the appreciation for Bonsai Plants or you don`t. So, it`s fine if you do not have the appreciation. Just because Tahmed will be sending his wife a Bonsai Plant does not mean that you cannot follow the same route. We always learn a thing or two from those around us. I am glad that I was able to introduce Bonsai Plant to your list of things to look into.

... finally …
…and the world we live in is a lot more complicated than you think. And it is naive to suggest that by trading hallmark cards and sending gifts wrapped in floral-patterned paper will fix everything.
It has nothing to do with such touchy-feely, new age fluff. Neither can a tqm manual with its 7-step program to conflict resolution is of any use here. In the root of these fancy ideas are basic human instincts and values … which is what defines people and make or break nations. And there ain’t no fucking flow chart that can make it happen if the basic ingredients are missing.
But they forget to mention this in college classes and management courses. And the result is crops of feel-good people … armed with laptops, and useless theories and fancy idealism … talking about exotic plants and dollar-ninety-nine cards … as if this crap makes the world go round. Nonsense … it’s all hogwash. Not to mention that the bonsai plant company is making a killing off customers like you … and that hallmark is a cut-throat global corporation looking to turn a profit every quarter. So spare me this feel-good fluff ...

Zahra,
There is hardly any need to withdraw anything … however a sincere admission of error is very much called for (not legally, but in the name of dignity … ahem, ahem). This is what I emphasized in post #354 … and this is what I find lacking in discussions with tahmed Sahib. I don’t think he has a sense of shame or remorse over his remarks. I am giving him a taste of his own medicine … so please don’t pin all the blame on me here.
Zahra je … you’ve been on my case for being unpleasant. At the same time you characterized tahmed’s comments as … “a flippant remark, made in jest, that sattar took too seriously”. Level with me on this now ... do you believe what you wrote?
And by no coincidence, this is what tahmed apologized for. How can I take his apology seriously? It is a sham. Conversely, if a person levels filthy charges against you, belittles your loved ones, reaffirms these charges against you … and later makes light of the matter by claiming it was all in jest … how would you react? Did you think through this when asking me to accept his sweet apology? Who are we kidding here?
Are you being as unbiased here as you’d like to think? I don’t expect an answer … as this is something for you to reflect upon. Yes, we all stand to learn from this episode, and madam, you are no exception.
And in all seriousness … I am not sure if I follow your “angel in disguise” or the “pot calling the kettle black” comment. But what the hell do I know ... I need to grow up and develop an appreciation for bonsai plants first …
Salim …

As I said earlier, that in itself would be feat - whether picking them up or even dragging them. :)
Peace, my friend. Smoke `em if you got `em. Take five and Cheer up. :)

Re: # 355 Sattar: It`s ok if you did not find the appropriate hallmark card. No harm done. No need to drift back to your unpleasant mode. There is a time for everything. What`s been said in the past cannot be withdrawn. It`s too late. Either you forgive or forget or completely cut off from that person who has hurt your feelings. Just hammering on the same point 10 million times is useless. It`s unhealthy for your own well-being. Obviously, it`s certainly your prerogative to continue your informative exchange.
You are not angel in disguise. Ok. Are you telling me that you have never extended an apology to anyone on Chowk for your flippant remarks? How ironic to see the pot calling the kettle black! That`s hillarious. Grow up!

What fucking misunderstanding? This tahmed guy levels disgusting charges against me … then insists it was in jest … then tries to deny making such remarks … and you think it was a misunderstanding? Is this how a decent guy behaves?
And must you do this? I mean must you drag these women … with their complexions and weight into all this? Things are bad enough between me and his highness tauheed ahmed sahib … you are making them worse! Aaaaghhh ….
And where is Zahra?? … She should witness tahmed making an ass of himself. That should teach her not to get carried away with bonsai plants and that fucking hallmark crap she pulled on me …
#354 Posted by sattar2 on August 16, 2005 4:08:57 pm
tahmed,
I don’t know if you are really this stupid or if you just like to play dumb.
You seem to be denying making filthy comments … while simultaneously insisting they were made in jest! tahmed, are you feeling alright??
If you click on the link I provided (my post #129 on this board), it takes you to my post on another board … where I refer you to your post # … where you reaffirmed that sattar is trying to pick up women on chowk. Click through and find for yourself ...
What were you thinking when you re-accused me of this low behavior?
The only lies here are those told by you. And none of this would`ve been necessary if you had admitted your mistake early on ... and sincerely apologized for gross error on your part. But apparently this is too much for your big ego and your big mouth. So go on spinning excuses ... changing your story ... and what not. It only lowers your character.

#351, Mr. Sattar2, {``while on the other hand he falsely accuses me, persistently, over time, out of nowhere, of trying to pick up women on chowk``}
First of all, let me admire your bravery and most of all your strength. You may not know it, but judging from the ``Women`` of Chowk UP, I hesitate and shudder to inform you that some of them are ``she-males.`` Also, and here is where praise for your strength or purported strength comes in, many of these are in the not so light, as in weight, category. Yes, they are fat and picking them up would be a feat in itself. So, suffice it to say, that I do not believe you, or anyone else in their sane mind, would even attempt to pick up a woman on Chowk, especially on UP. :)
I am sure there must be some sort of a misunderstanding. Mr. Tahmed is genuinely a very decent person.
There, are you happy now?
Thanks for clearing up a messy situation. :)

Salim (#347),
You skipped over some parts as you quoted me. Here’s what I wrote:
I have not read Salim’s comments … and I am basing my view primarily on what tahmed himself wrote. It seems that despite Salim’s lewd comments … tahmed seems to have a soft corner for him.
It has to do with tahmed’s hypocrisy, and not with you. Read the whole post if it helps. He seems to be employing double standards. One for those he likes (you, who also praises him quite a bit), and one for those he does not get along well with (me, as I’ve told him to stick it at times).
Note that I may not think of your “lewd” comments as lewd. I don’t know till I read them. But that’s not important here. Furthermore, even if your comments are indeed lewd, tahmed may be doing the right thing by being nice to you! However, this too is not important.
The point is the contrast in his behavior: On one hand tahmed is gentle with some (while acknowledging lewdness of their comments) … while on the other hand he falsely accuses me, persistently, over time, out of nowhere, of trying to pick up women on chowk.
To make matters worse, he now insists it was all in jest!!! Wtf?? Such low accusations, followed by claims of jest … point to a filthy mindset. Let’s not pretend that such behavior is even remotely acceptable.
#350 Posted by tahmed32 on August 16, 2005 3:29:45 pm
Mr. Chauhan #347 As you can see, this man is desperate to find someone to start exchanging insults with. Having failed with me, he is now trying to bait you into falling to his level. Your statesmanlike response to him is most befitting, as Generalissimo Musharaff would say.

sattar #346 You write ``I provided you with the link (post #129) where you reaffirmed your claim that sattar is trying to pick up woman.``
I went to your post #129 and clicked on the link...and was put thru to a post written by you to me on this same accusation of yours back in May 10 (with the same abuses written to me there that you are writing here). Thus, for months now you have been trying to bait me into exchanging posts with you by making up this issue of my having insulted you.
So, what you now write is yet another lie (in addition to the ones I pointed out in my previous post to you).
I have nothing more to add to you beyond what I already pointed out in my post below to you.

tahmed,
The problem lies with you, so don’t be upset with me. And leave Urstruly out of this … it has nothing to do with him. Neither does this have anything to do with religion. So don’t try to shift the focus here. This is about your own delusions, hypocrisy, and lewd mindset.
You are suggesting that sattar took your comments too seriously. After making lewd comments about me, and repeating them... over time ... you’re now insisting it was meant in jest? This is a low, sick attempt at denial. Learn to take responsibility for your filthy actions.
I have highlighted your hypocritical behavior. You seem to turn a blind eye to those who praise you … and fabricate filth against those who tell you off. If I am incorrect, feel free to provide a reasonable explanation. Otherwise, go to hell.
I provided you with the link (post #129) where you reaffirmed your claim that sattar is trying to pick up woman. Ask yourself … why do you say such nasty things? What gives you the right?
If it was in jest, your humor says a lot about you.
And yes, I am sincere in my anger … and disappointed in you. You should be embarrassed to fabricate such filth against anyone. Furthermore, trying to pass it as ``jest`` makes you more of a pathetic loser.
#345 Posted by tahmed32 on August 16, 2005 11:56:42 am
sattar: Your only claim to fame used to be writing lengthy, stupid, insulting posts to urstruly on matters of religion. Now you have added to that by being my campfollower, coming out of the woodwork showering abuse on me for this supposed insult. Earlier, at Zahra`s suggestion, I had expressed regret at saying something in jest that you took so strongly - In doing so, I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and assumed you were sincere in your anger. You rejected that with a load of lies about my having insulted your family (and if you wish to prove otherwise, cut and paste what I wrote). In return, I wished you a nice day, i.e. to go find something useful to do with your time. Now I realize that this all you are capable of doing is writing insults with strangers - whether in the name of religion or in the name of presumed ``insults``.
By all means continue to be my campfollower and keep ranting on this supposed insult to your majesty. That is all you are capable of doing.

Shankar (#330):
I would if I sensed sincerity in tahmed’s apology. The way he has beaten around the bush … and has failed to admit wrongdoing on his part … makes his apology useless in my view.
Two-faced behavior
Take a closer look … and contrast my case with that of Salim’s. I have not read Salim’s comments … and I am basing my view primarily on what tahmed himself wrote. It seems that despite Salim’s lewd comments … tahmed seems to have a soft corner for him.
However, when dealing with me, he totally fabricated charges of … sattar spreading rumors about a female, and trying to pick her up. Later, as I showed (post #129), he forcefully repeated this claim.
Probable reasons for double-standards …
I wonder about contrast in tahmed’s behavior … when dealing with me and when dealing with Salim. Here’s my somewhat speculative answer:
Salim seems to praise tahmed Sahib quite a bit … which I think has blinded tahmed Sahib and compromised his sense of civility. On the other hand, when tahmed tried to push his biblical morality on me, I simply told him to shove it. I think this burned tahmed Sahib, and overtime, prompted him to fabricate filth against me, since I had fallen out of favor with him.
And the apology …
Read his apology again … (#153). He is sorry that his remarks offended me. He makes it sound like it is my fault that I got offended. How about being sorry that his remarks were actually low, baseless, incorrect, and offensive???
He goes on to say that sattar obviously took tahmed’s remarks too seriously. Well … jesus fucking christ … when he repeatedly accuses me of spreading rumors against women on chowk … and of trying to pick up women … how the fuck am I supposed to take his remarks??? Is this suposed to be a joke ... ???? Did I miss something in the first 36 years of my life????
I hope you or Zahra can explain this before asking me to accept tahmed`s apology.
I think his apology is a sham. The man is fake, an arrogant prick … a lufanga and a hypocrite of lowest degree.
And finally ...
Having said that … if tahmed Sahib ever brings me a bonsai plant … I’ll shove that plant so far up his rear that he’ll have a japanese tea garden growing out of his nostrils. He certainly deserves such treatment ... and I`d be happy to oblige ...

Hamidm2 #276, {``p.s. my grandma was a syed-zaadi so she was guaranteed a spot in heaven``}
Hai Allah! Both of these gentlemen are pulling rank on me! Look how subtle Mr. Hamidm was in referring to his holy lineage - a direct descendant of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) no doubt. So now I am supposed to kiss this Sayyad`s ring finger. These high-caste Moose Limb Brahmins are too much to take. It`s not fair! Doesn`t he know that on my nannhiyaal side, I am descended from the assistant chief chariot mechanic of His Imperial Majesty, King (Shahinsha) Cyrus (Surosh) the Great? I will kiss his ring finger, touch his beard, and that`s where I draw the line. I will not kiss his Arabic rump.
And then there is Shankar Wanker Bhayya thumping his chest and whirling his choti around. He wants us all to kiss his Brahmin buttocks that he keeps aired in his minisule dhoti. Hey Ram, I can`t stand this humiliation anymore. Bhagwan, please let me die and come back as a dung beetle. Why am I of such pathetic pedigree? My Rajput ancestors fought to enforce this Brahmin`s ancestors` passion for having their pale posteriors puckered by paindoos. Why couldn`t my grandpa have been a Pandey or a Dickshit? This is going beyond the pale. I will place a pocketful of Papuan pesos that my pale posterior pales this Brahmin`s pale posterior in paleness.
Now I know how Mr. Dalit feels. Where is Dalit when we need him? The only thing I can do is now to torture those below me on the totem pole - watch out Baniyaas and Pathans!

#336, Mr. Tahmed Sahib, {``I trust you performed your random acts of kindness today on chowk, thereby confusing your enemies and delighting your friends.``}
Mr dear Mr. Tahmed Sahib, Good afternoon, Sir. I have been behaving so well in my real life, and even on Chowk, that you would be proud of me. I have not had a drink since a week before my wedding, I am praying at least 4.5 times a day, and on Chowk I avoided UP all day yesterday. If I get any saintlier, I would approximate your own pristine sanctity. :)

shankar: I too had once harbored (if that is the word) some fish in a tank. The procedure I followed was to gently take them out of the tank, and give them a dignified burial-at-sea by flushing them down the toilet. And swore that I would never purchase any more of these dumb things.
Much simpler than what you suggest.

{{........ by the way, how many cichlids can you put in a 45 gallon tank .......}}
I would say not more than 6. You might get away with 10; if you are diligent about 33% water changes every week.
{{this damn thing has been cycling for almost six weeks and the nitrite level is still in the red ...........}}
Dont add any more fish; for now. Take a sample of water every week to the bozo who sold you the set up. Make sure the tank is cycled (ie ammonia, nitrite levels fall to zero & nitrate levels slowly start to rise)...thats when you begin partial water changes....
Add 1 fish a week..carefully..
{{ the fish-man at aquatic discoveries (who looks and acts like one of your patients) has sold me more than a hundred dollars worth of ``good bacteria`` and all sorts of additives but the fishees are still dying}}
Heheh!...R-I-P-O-F-F Punjabi bakra!
``good bacteria`` (& the other CRAPOLA additives) is the BIGGEST racket in aquarium science. Tell him to give you a handful of gravel from one of his fully cycled tanks at the store. That will have enough bacteria to ``seed`` your tank.
{{- only two left ........ these two are tough so i have named them romair and salim - romair is a blue peacock who is still strutting around as if nothing is wrong, and salim is a yellow african who keeps on moving pebbles even as he is dying - i estimate he has moved about twnety times his body weight in the last two days ..}}
Moving gravel is cichild behaviour of ``establishing territory`` for himself (he`s most likely a male)...DONT get any ``women`` cichlids (unless youre interested in breeding cichlids.
All Hell breaks loose when you introduce a girl to a bunch of horny guys...kinda what happens in this lunatic asylum...
Lastly, if you name one of your piscian friend Romair...he will be doomed to be a man without a territory, without an identity & COMPLETELY clueless in analysing data...but remains optimistic about ``scoring``; just the same!

If you have valid points to make then why do you need to come down to this approach? I want to check you here since you are leaning in the same direction.
I am sure the readers will care less when such kind of behavior is displayed by the random nicks and immature brats, but this does not suit you. Please carefully analyze your communication style.

Mr. Dost-Mittar, {``Since you singled out my name, I would like to set the record straight.``}
Thank you sir for setting the record straight. By stating ``I also believe that the policy should be applied consistently and fairly`` you have essentially vindicated me. Let`s say that I get trapped into ``shouting matches`` usually instigated by a couple of well-known miscreants, several of them ``females,`` and a couple of them of undetermined gender.
Also, I appreciate your kind words of praise and encouragement. I have resolved NOT to participate in Chowk UP discussions and will try my best NOT to get trapped by some of these same people who will, undoubtedly come to FP just to fight with me.
While I may not have forgotten about the July 2004 massacre, I have certainly forgiven all and request the same from those I may have adversely impacted. I respect you as an interesting and informed interactor who is always willing to share his considerable experiences.
Thanks,

Since you singled out my name, I would like to set the record straight.
I oppose and have opposed banning anyone on chowk. At one time I specifically mentioned that I was uncomfortable interacting here if you and atif were banned because of me.
I support chowk deleting obnoxious posts, especially those involving sexual abuse of female chowkies (God knows we have too few of them anyways!). I also believe that the policy should be applied consistently and fairly.
The same policy should apply to me. I do not think that any of my posts have violated chowk guidelines. Even the post in which I made reference to the Prophet marrying his daughter-in-law was inappropriate but did not include any vulgarity. [I thought that it was old and forgotten but not apparently by you!]
I also think that you are one of the most brilliant and witty posters, right behind hamidm, but you should resist the temptation to use derogatory language against female posters. Someitmes, it appears that you believe in ``ek sunaar ki sau lauhar ki`` instead of the other way round.

Zahra (#189):
You are partly right in that tahmed is not obligated to apologize. This somewhat depends upon how obligation is defined. It may be defined in a legal context or on basis of civility. In the latter case, I think he owed me one. I don’t think one can argue otherwise.
He was very blatant in airing seriously dirty remarks against me … and went on to expand on his senseless tirade. I summarized this earlier (#159), so will avoid repetition. After being evasive, he is yet to admit wrongdoing on his part. Is this being succinct? What about being forthright? Or are we playing with words here?
I admit that I have raised this issue to the point of unpleasantness. I am accordingly sorry for doing so. This issue would have been better resolved if Sahib had not initiated such a tirade in the first place, or realized his error when it was pointed out the first time, or the second time, or the third time. In any case, I am sorry for causing this stir.
I decided to forgo the issue and to leave it between him and his good judgment. If he feels he did not blunder, then yes, he shouldn’t admit to wrongdoing on his part. If he felt momentarily under outside pressure to offer an apology, and apologized for “sattar getting offended”, then I am sorry that he felt sorry.
OK Zahra je, let me ask you this: If a person levels absolutely filthy charges against you in public … belittles your loved ones … and when reminded of his behavior, continues to act in a belligerent manner … and later apologizes for Zahra getting offended … would you find such an apology acceptable?
Please take a moment to thoroughly reflect on this. And if your answer is a resounding “yes” … then I’ll trust your better judgment and accept tahmed’s apology.

As we struggle with our difficult chores, let us think of others who had to struggle with theirs and could only say ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
1. Gen Arora, accepting the surrender of 93,000 enemy troops in East Pakiland - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
2. US Consul, looking at the long line of visa applicants - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
3. Bangaldeshi ambassador, looking at the long line of work permit applicants - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
4. Illegal Mexican immigrant, waiting in line to be deported - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
5. Kaura Singh RabRiwalla, distributing free recycled Indian condoms in Lahore - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
6. Confused passenger, arriving at LaGuardia Airport and seeing the long line of taxis - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
7. New Scotland Yard, looking at suicide bombing suspects at Elephant & Caste station - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
8. Besieged Al-Kayda recruiter at Paki University campus - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
9. Gen Mushy looking at the list of his own assassination suspects - ``TOO MANY PAKIS.``
10. St. Peter, at the Pearly Gates, welcoming new arrivals to heaven - ``WHERE ARE THE PAKIS?``
This should now balance my ``TOO MANY INDIANS`` list. :)

Thank you sir. You will see - credibility will become my middle name. But then, how can I replace a good name like ``Ahmed`` with anything better? :)

I see you are in your rare but funny humorous mood. This post was full of very original and hilarious material.
{``powerpoint presentation by a team of high-priced consultants from the management consulting firm of Deloitte and Touche``} That is very funny. :)

shankar mian,
....... you should know better than to accuse me of using gali-galooch on this pristine site ........ all it means is ``my lover`s tongue is turkish, and it is turkish that i dont know`` ............ and no, you dirty old man, there is no hidden meaning in ``tongue`` - it simply means ``language`` .......
........ by the way, how many cichlids can you put in a 45 gallon tank ....... this damn thing has been cycling for almost six weeks and the nitrite level is still in the red ........... the fish-man at aquatic discoveries (who looks and acts like one of your patients) has sold me more than a hundred dollars worth of ``good bacteria`` and all sorts of additives but the fishees are still dying - only two left ........ these two are tough so i have named them romair and salim - romair is a blue peacock who is still strutting around as if nothing is wrong, and salim is a yellow african who keeps on moving pebbles even as he is dying - i estimate he has moved about twnety times his body weight in the last two days ............ i have great admiration for salim`s perseverance and great disdain for romair`s ignorance ............

Mere bhai Gujju mian, yeh naam aapko bahoot suit karat he. :)
No, yaar, she may have asked numerous times, but I never shared pictures with her. Based on her perfidy about revealing personal e-mails to her fellow chuRayls, I am glad that I never did. She may have tried to send me her picture attached to her e-mail, but because of major obesity, her picture could not fit in one transmission. :)
If you want to imagine her image, you will have to use my theory of relativity. She thought that Hippo Phobia was ``extremely good-looking.`` Now, if the chunky maid from Lahore, judging from your own due dilgence in research, is ``extremely good-looking`` in her opinion, just imagine what she herself looks like and how obese she really is. My friend, when in doubt, rely on science. :)

BAD Bombay muslim woman Zeenat CURSED me ...enthusiastically supported by feminazi brahmin ``worse-half`` of mine.... for giving husband such IDIOTIC brahmin advice. Unfortunately, living with us kufr-dukkars has made em Bombay katlus half-pagans....
BUTT BUTT....
Funny how Dr Sohaib WHOLEHEARTEDLY agreed with that UNDENIABLE fact of life!
Ofcourse, all REAL men (not the quiche-eating kind) will agree with us. Sheesh who needs dirty pearls anyway..
{{I dont blame you for being resentful of the caste system. Even in the US, the interference of the religious right in politics (stem cell research, teaching of science in schools) is very damaging to this great nation. The result is that on a cost-benefits scale, religion does much more harm than good I think. Which is sad, since (seen as a personal matter for the individual), religion can do lots of good}}
YAWN!!!!
Yaaada Yaaaada Yaaaaaada...

Instead of boring us to TEARS....IMHO...you outta get a REAL job & become a hafiz mullah at wherever-the-f-you-live & maybe YOUR brainless congregation may hear it & go.

For those using `caste system` as a stick to beat India with and shedding crocodile tears over `discrimination of dalits by upper caste hindus`......spare me the tear jerker and have a glance at the hard facts. Nothing is more valuable to Indians than a seat in a decent engineering college. For an upper caste hindu to get a seat in electronics in a top Bangalore college like RVCE, he/she has to get a rank of under 200 (out of 25,000 applicants). Under 200 means an average in PCM of 97%.
But a student fortunate enough to be born to dalit parents can get the same seat with a ranking of 7000 , and with just 70% in PCM.
Same pattern exists every where ...medical colleges , IITs , IAS selection etc. etc. And now dalits want reservation in the private sector....

satyamvada:
Masana muthu :-
Masana - is also a word used for the crematory (from the word smashana )
muthu is of course pearl
And who is supposed to live in the crematory land - Shiva
It is funny that both you (masanamuthu) and harimau - both used words
totally/completely ignorant of its meaning.
``mayaanam`` is the tamil word for crematory. and ``maasu`` in tamil is ``dirt``. Tamil is rich in vocabulary and you have words that can be used in many different ways too.. I comprehended the ``masana`` in ``masanamuthu`` to be ``maasana`` (that`s how it`s written in tamil). like you took that to be ``mayaana``..
I`m right too.. and I`d not term you as ``ignorant`` either..

Actually masanmuthu is a beneficiary of caste system...since lower caste hindus are reserved 50% of the seats in engineering/medical colleges and in government jobs , and are well looked after by the sugar daddy government though out their career. Its advantageous to be classified as `low caste hindu` in India.
Its upper caste hindus like Harimau who feel resentful towards caste system because they have no choice but to compete on basis of merit , % and grades. No short cuts for them.

masana muthu #282 Thanks for teaching me my first two tamil words. ``Masana Muthu`` or ``tainted pearl``. I now know what to say to my wife next time she and I disagree on something. :-)
I dont blame you for being resentful of the caste system. It reinforces my belief that when religion extends beyond being a personal matter between man and God, and into social or political institutions, then both religion and those institutions are corrupted. This is what has happened in Pakistan as well of course - and we too have our own social evils as a result. Even in the US, the interference of the religious right in politics (stem cell research, teaching of science in schools) is very damaging to this great nation. The result is that on a cost-benefits scale, religion does much more harm than good I think. Which is sad, since (seen as a personal matter for the individual), religion can do lots of good.

Mr. Salim Chauhan #272 Congratulations sir on your ``Action Plan``. It truly could not have been better expressed if this had been a powerpoint presentation by a team of high-priced consultants from the management consulting firm of Deloitte and Touche.
I see that this action plan has already led Mr. Hamidm to explain why he hangs out on chowk (namely, to boink poor Mr. Ozer Khalid on the head any time he writes one his highly acclaimed literary articles on chowk), and also to share with us his legitimate claim to fame for having the First Granma in Outer Space. No doubt he will be sharing other such personal treasures with us in future.
Mr t is no doubt playing a ``wait and see`` attitude with regard to your implementation of your ``Action Plan``. You have already implemented the first point I see (i.e. simply using your own name, thus making it clear that you stand behind your words and are not one of those who are unwilling to have their name associated with what they write on chowk, this being a characteristic of some of chowks finest like Messrs Hamidm and Shankar). This will no doubt lend credibility to what you write. As we say in Pakistan: Once God, One Nation, One Feuhrer, One Nick!! Achtung!!! Heil Mushy!!! (sorry, got carried away in the end).
Anyway, seriously, I think your points in #272 are admirable and wish you good luck with them. (Ignore Succubus/Khamkhwa who I have said have also taken note of your points - they will soon realize the error of their ways and will start appreciating you in due course.)

right..
btw, what language is your nick from and what does it mean??
Actually, I did not select this nick, It was done by ``harimau`` who was constantly berating people supposedly ``lower`` in the caste hierarchy.. I somehow chanced on this website and becoming a member was not my intention.. (Actually I did not want any kind of association with Pakistan.. that too at this period in time..) But just to refute the constant allegations of ``harimau`` I took the plunge..
The nick is ``Tamil`` and it means ``polluted pearl``..

#278, Shankar,
Shankar bhayya,
Experience has taught me never to question the wisdom of those, such as you and Mr. MBZIsphahani, who are divinely inspired in their utterances - no matter how incomprehensible they may be. You are truly gifted in both prose and rhyme, although sometimes it is difficult to differentiate.
I represent the nic accused of a thousand criimes. Let me defend myself, your mohtarramship. Long, long ago, I was a young Rajput lad with a simple nic of Barachota. I engaged in numerous furious battles on Chowk FP, only to have been suddenly dispatched, in the prime of youth, to whereever dead Rajputs end up. This was the famous July 2004 massacre on Chowk that terminated the lives of many a nic - Gujjubania, Atif1, and a few others. I did notice that some Brahmins of Chowk, e.g. Dost Mittar and others, were exempt from this mass execution, although they may have uttered expressions far higher on the vulgarometer. Anyway, I protested and hired an able Jewish attorney, Mr. KKKandK, and things took off like a Jee TV soap opera - conspiracy, backstabbing, women, wine, excessive makeup, and very little singing.
Now, Shankar Wankar Bhayya, if you keep deleting a Chowkie`s nic, along with all of his award-losing intellectual property, does he not have the right to a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th, or a 1000th janam? Where is it written that Lord Krishna can only be reincarnated a limited number of times? They ban my nic, I get another one from the high-tech Indian Automated Nic Generator. That`s my story and I am sticking with it. :)
