Dialogue, State and Utopia

Despite your good intentions, you are going to scare Pakistani nationalists further. We all have our myths and one of Pakistani myths is that India has been impatiently waiting to gobble up/undermine the Pakistani nation.

Similarly, younger Indians, particularly those from the increasingly powerful Southern states, associate Pakistan with one only thing -- terrorism. As their hatred of terrorism increases, so does their dislike of Pakistan.

Had JNU been located in Bangalore, people would have been walking up to you to inquire whether you were still in full control of your faculties :)

SAARC is pure garbage, its just for vacationing. I mean, what talkof confederation, when SAARC countries don`t even share basic stuff like river water information.

Confederation is the stupidest idea in our region. India and Pakistan can`t even agree on minor things, and people with nothing else to do except propagate stupidity are dreaming about a confederation.

P.B Mehta, one other piece of advice.

Learn some urdu, read the paki press, talk to the mullahs in pakiland (and elsewhere)
and understand their thinking.
You think Kashmir is a problem ? Kashmir is only the first step in the path to greater
glory - ask the mullahs. Do not project your own ideas onto what others think.
Ask others what they think, listen to Pakis, listen to Mushy and his military scoundrels,
and most importantaly follow their actions and their justifications.
Follow the paki urdu press, it is much more revealing about the paki mind
than the english press.

course the mullahs want their own utopia. the jnu commies (with us degrees) also
want their own utopia.
In all of history, those who want their utopia are the ones who are intolerant and
commit genocide.

Do yourself a favor and read a history book. For most of recorded history, India has always been a ``loose`` regional grouping of diverse peoples. Been there, done that!! It does not work. In fact, India has always been conquered by foreign invaders precisely because of its ``loose`` framework. The lack of a strong center has been the primary reason for India`s defeat throughout history. The Brits took it to an extreme level as they perfected the art of divide and conquer against India and enslaved the entire subcontinent.

Indian people have realized that and are never going to undo the present setup. The current boundaries of India and the national government framework is the best thing that happened to India for the past 2000 years. It has helped us to come together as a nation, build up our sense of brotherhood and given us enormous economic clout in the world. Without it, we would be reduced to the same status as Pakistanis, Bangladeshis or Nepalis. Hence, we will never let go of it. If Pakistan or anyone else is unhappy about that, who cares?
