Chowk Staff - Why hasn`t Saminasha been banned permanently?
This is what she posted in her own ``WTF`` thread:

Stuka,
Fuck you. Seriously. Make all your references than act like it was out of innocence

I did see those Joses but I am not into such things. Paris was nice, I forgot to add in my list.
After sometime they all look same. I liked the countryside, it reminded me of NM area where I used to go often(Espanola/Pagosa Springs).

Re: # 31 Thanks Mr.Delhiwalla for giving little tour of Losvegas city.
My suggestion to all travel related articles , if possible please try to include some pictures . This can add lot of fun to article and specially the people like me who have not been to western world any time. If I am correct you gave some time back a didatic picture story of a historical place with pictures and appreciated lot. Hope many will add flavor by adding pictures.

Thank You all of my Kadardaans for appreciating my travelogue.
I am sick and tired of other articles that end up with indi-paki bashing. Why cant they take it elsewhere.
Anyways, please feel free to add your comments like Sahara did. Thank You Sahara Jee.
I coul dhave seen lot of shows but with family it is difficult. Last but not least, there are two discount vendors selling last minute deals for shows, if you are lucky you can get some good show for under $50. I wanted to celine dion(a canadian) but her show was sold out.

This one brings back a lot of fond, and a few not-so-fond memories!
My two cents for those who are planning a trip to the sin city…
What not to miss on the Strip:
-Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
-Atlantis fountain show at Caesars Palace (free)
-Bellagio`s Fountain show (free, every night)
-The Conservatory at Bellagio
-Cirque du Soleil
-Grand Canal Shoppes/ Gondolas/ Madame Tussauds wax museum at Venetian
-Unlimited free cocktails at all the casinos (+ tip)
-Aladdin’s Mediterranean Buffet
-Desert Passage Mall at Aladdin’s
-Roundtable buffet at Excalibur
-White tiger habitat/ tropical rainforest at Mirage
-Slot tournaments at Monte Carlo (if you are staying at Monte Carlo, do participate everyday- it’s free and you can win tons of prizes such as dining coupons, shopping bucks, etc.)
-Sunday Champagne brunch buffet at Monte Carlo
-Le Boulevard Shops at Paris
-The Eiffel Tower at Paris
-For single women: ‘The Thunder from Down Under’ at Excalibur (I am ‘assuming’ that it must be entertaining!:)
A few suggestions:
-HAVE A BUDGET FOR GAMBLING. Stop when you’ve reached the maximum self-allowed limit.
-Women: Even if you manage to escape from the showgirls, there will be some partial nudity around. Be prepared to deal with it. (Tip: Dress glamorously to retaliate:)
-HAVE A BUDGET FOR GAMBLING. Losing all that money is not worth the free Pina Colada or Bloody Mary!
-Beware of musty odor at Luxor (visit but don’t stay).
-HAVE A BUDGET FOR GAMBLING. If you are not familiar with the notion of sunk cost, do read a few essays/articles to familiarize yourself with it.
-‘V-Ultimate Variety Show’ isn’t all that.
-HAVE A BUDGET FOR GAMBLING. Spend money on food and shows instead of wasting it all in hope to recover the lost bucks. You won’t. You’ll just end up losing more.
-If you are young and/or healthy, you don’t need to rent a car if you stay in a hotel somewhere in the middle of the Strip. You can pretty much cover the strip on feet.
(Believe me, you will need the exercise to compensate for indulging in the buffets!)
- HAVE A BUDGET FOR GAMBLING. Gambling without planning is a no no. It is ‘Haram’. Just don’t do it.

on #27 sorry, got interrupted by a visitor, and now i have to go.
but very quickly...spent 3-4 days in venice, and it was quite an experience. this city-state used to be a superpower of its time (fighting greeks, turks and so forth). developed double-entry bookkeeping. inspired some of europe`s finest poets from centuries gone by. still continues (in nearby islands) the art of making glass sculpture. we got a hotel next to st. marco`s cathedral (i am pretty sure that is what it was called) which is next to the doge`s palace. and walked over town, pushing strollers, all day long.
jis naiN venice naihoN waikhhyaa, aus nay kuchh naiN waikkhya.
(but will try to see vegas one of these days).

here is my mini-travelogue of venice (the one in italy):
Our association of Venice with water started as soon as we landed at the airport. We hailed a cab to take us to town, as one would do at any airport, except here the cab in question was a water taxi.
The water taxi then took us across a stretch of water. The skyscape of venice emerged slowly in the horizon, like some kind of a fairy tale kingdom.

Delhiwala, although i didnt visit vegas, i did spend a few days in venice (the one in italy, not the one in vegas). i think your next trip should be to venice, and you will then agree that no matter how good the vegas venice, it cant beat the real thing.

delhiwala:
A good and interesting introduction to anyone planning a visit to the sun city. I have been only to Las Vegas airport for a change of flight from San Jose to Pheonix. Having visited Reno, I was not too keen to go there but your write-up has changed my mind. Especially grateful that you did not spend too much time in describing gambling and floor shows, or may be we should thank your daughter for that. :)

I had carrot and Orange mix, my wife had water mellon and something in it(celery???).
I could live there. I could become a dealer in casino(just kidding).
So, where are you in NY really?
