I`d drop that facetious argument as quickly as you dropped that ``mistress`` issue if I were you...recanting seems to be an occupation with you...

#159, {``Ah...the intellectually lazy AND dishonest have farted and here are some of their notions``}
What is this fascination that you feminazis have with posteriors and their fumes? Almost every one of your messages has some reference to this curious obsession. I hope this is the end. :)

#147 i think you are very confused on this issue. :-)

Ah...the intellectually lazy AND dishonest have farted and here are some of their notions:
1. Phyllis Schafly means something to anyone besides Newt Gingrich, Stuka and chuhan. Everywhere else, her name is as interchangeable as Anita Bryant`s as a punch line for a Stepford Wife joke...but the desi men on chowk...give them credit for being only 200 years psychically behind and 50 years historically behind American history
2. The laws and policies of North America were the result of marginalized special interest groups and NOT DECISIONS MADE AFTER CAREFUL JUDICIAL CONSIDERATION AND APPLICATION OF THE RIGHTS GUARANTEED IN THE CONSTITUTION. That one, boy, it takes alot of stupidity to avoid Plessy vs. Ferguson or Brown vs. the Board of Ed...but hey, our ``men`` never disappoint....
3. Feminism was literally and only about burning bras. I mean....are people who are fixated on the literalness of this idea operating heavy machinery? I need to know this...are they allowed to have children? Jury Duty? Some of them are allowed to vote it seems, and looky here, the more honest of them will admit to a few mistakes there....
4. The Civil Rights movement was not affected by the Suffragette movement, the Abolitionist Movement, the Black Intelligensia of the 1930s...it occured in a vacuum as a hostage taking situation...None of these groups or individuals should be free...or have the right to vote...or have reproductive freedom...or equal opportunities afforded to members of the hegemomic class...we should all timewarp back to the time of Klan, where everyone knew their places...
This is too funny....thanks for the larfs, boys! Glad to see this article wasnt wasted on youse....

Oh and get this....
More SPECIFICALLY the ``college mate`` friend of mine (lets call her ``L`` shall we) still DOESN`T wear the Hijab.
and More specifically- knowing both her and her ex-husband- she still doesn`t know poor old Malik99...
And more specifically ... Malik99 still fails to back up his wild accusations....
#157 Posted by MantoLives on September 12, 2005 2:34:44 pm
Some how I was late getting to this....
Malik99 has once again proved himself to be a person without any integrity. To my question asking him to prove where I have abused ``Hijabi females`` he produced the following reply:
``At your service. Do you remember ridiculing a girl who had recently adopted hijab at Lahore airport?``
Clearly- from your own statement- I didn`t ridicule her for wearing the Hijab (if she has recently adopted the Hijab then that is clearly not possible). Infact let me say this... I didn`t ridicule her at all... in response to her personal attacks on a web forum (clearly keeping company with you, she must be the same kind of person- no wonder if you catch my drift)... I just pointed out shifting standards of ``piety`` as it were...
``More specifically, she was your college mate.``
More specifically she DIDN`T wear the Hijab. So it doesn`t prove your point.
``More specifically, she was at airport to see off her relatives. Rings a bell?``
More specifically- the objection was to her sudden change of demeanor that was bothersome.
``As for threatening you with violence when I visited Lahore, well, get this: I had a choice between finding you or finding a nice restaurant. Guess what I opted for?? Not that you are not important enough, but somehow time spent on Nihari was worth more to me``
Well ... apparently by your own admission you ``grudgingly`` tore into your food after the chowkie you were meeting very kindly - with your welfare being her number 1 consideration- refused to give you my address... So are you now changing your story? Man I have met people who lie ... but never have I come across an individual who lies in every single sentence- and gets called out for it as well...
No wonder these are the dark days for Muslims...

#155, {``why don`t you wear one for a day and see if you feel liberated when you take it off in the evening?:)``}
That was very funny. I laughed a lot.
Now, just one comment. You are speaking with too much authority, as if you already know the answer. :)

#152, Urs Bhai {``How the hell burning a bra can make women free. What chutyapa.``}
This is much before our time. In the old days, burning bra was an accepted way of breast reduction. It was quite effective as long as it was done carefully and under supervision. Of course, the object was to reduce pounds and not make it disappear altogether.

DM Sahib, #149,
Did you actually see any real bra-burning?
Was it fun or just a lot of pain? Did they remove the bras first?
These are burning questions.

Salim_Chauhan:
Betty Frieden wrote her Feminine Mystique in 1963 and founded the National Organization of Women in 1966. I believe even the bra-burning phase of the feminist movement took place in the late sixties. But yes, the movement really came into its own during the 70s, (with that song ``I am a woman`` by Helen somebody) after the anti-war movement died down.
