Temporal,
Kiya mirchi lag gayi?
I caught you having a feeding frenzy at Mushy`s expense. Come on, it was so obvious. When you start bolding words, I know that you are on a mission. :)

Let it go. Remember the last episode of your total exposure?
Apparently, you do. That is why you are still after me.

#74, Temporal,
I have refrained from responding to profanity with further profanity, even when provoked by people like Khamkhwa, Scout, and Samina. I have lived up to this resolve for the past month or more.
Now that khamkhwa has posted one-sided quotes from an altercation that obviously involved two sides and with Chowk Staff deleting threads and messages, it is interesting that you find it appropriate to rehash old feuds. Obviously, you must include me in your Mushy list.
Please move on and don`t cut your geography class at the University of Alabama in Boulder, TN.
Thanks,

DM Sahib and Soysauce,
I agree with your analyses. Others who are having a feeding frenzy at Mushy`s stupidity don`t realize that we can see right through them. Mr. Temporal is so obvious in his venom against Mushy that he would do cartwheels if Mushy ever got caught selling drugs to infants in the nursery. Doesn`t matter how demeaning the circus is to the victims, as long as Temporal can gloat over his enemy`s demise.

khamkhwa # 67:

please clarify:

1: what you quoted in #67 are by the same person who wrote #44 ( salim chauhan)?

2: are the quotes in #67 also ‘satire’?

For what it`s worth, Mushy`s predicate that it is alleged that accusations of rape are made for personal profit allows him some room for plausible deniability.
What he said is very characteristic of loose talk that politicians in our part of the world engage in - it`s right up there with Rajiv Gandhi`s ``when a giant tree falls..`` comment.

Hi Bina:

I think that Musharraf needs someone like you to coach him in proper manners and etiquettes wrt women`s issues. I think that he means well but he has this foot-in-the-mouth disease. He also probably still doesn`t understand what he said was wrong.

I don`t think that the man means bad. He is just clueless and insensitive to the current mode of thought on women`s issues.

Re: # 72, Dost Mittar:

``I don`t think that the man means bad.``
Do you know the difference between errors of commission and errors of omission? When CEO Mushraff is President, COAS, Head of State, all rolled in one, can the bar be lowered by condoning his behavior like you did? Cheers

Re: # 72

Dost-Mitter:

I also think that Musharaff is a sincere and professional soldier. He is neither a politician, nor a statesman. But he is trying to ride several horses at the same time. The spotaniety of his remark and responses is a reflection of a collective psyche and sub-conscious first reflection of the mindset of machoism in a Pakistani General and his other Lt. Generals in defensive position.

The question is can he or other Lt.. Generals who support him continue to be the leaders to lead a nation like Pakistan. They certainly have by creating confusion. I am sure, in Wasington DC, London, Israel and even in Delhi (including APHC)defense analyst and policy planners will analyze and undersand the capability of Pakistani leadership to make public fool out of themselves, first to speak their sub-conscious mindset, and then lie equally openly. I am sure the Time correspondents in front of whom he spoke the denial, must have this act by the head of a state very amusing.

The bigger question is can anyone trust such a leadership of a Nation? Paul Wolfowitz and his gang, Rumsfeld and his gang, Rice and her gang are quite smart, and so are Blair and his gang. They`ll keep it in mind as a factor to decide, and smart Alecs may even exploit these additional testasterone and machoism Pakistan`s military leadership showed.

He might have gained to create ``confusion`` in domestic Pakistani media.
Today, both Pakistan and Mushraff lost more by denial.

After I had read the Washington Post (WP) report by another reporter that WP has tape and the tape has has been examined to confirm that the comments are from Musharaff.

Clearly, Musharaff and his advisors knew this fact before he denied speaking these words. They must have understood that that any denial will make WP to examine the tape and confirm or apologize.

The only reason I came up for Musharaff to speak a straight face lie to deny and say that he was there and had heard someone else speaking those words, was that it was for Paksitani consumption.

Everyone knows Musharaff in Paksitan. His supporters can say that he said the deial in front of euqlly respected American magazine that where he challenged WP that he was there and had heard someone else speak.

This is what will reverberate in Pakistani media, and not what WP has said how many in Pakistan know or care about WP. Pakistani opposition and democratic institutions are non-existant to challenge him, unlike in India. Domestic consumption of contradiction, confusion, and controversy good damage control and denial is good enough, so that pro-Musharaff Pakistani media and ``anti-statement`` Media will have many field days to duke it out. After that who really cares? This serves the purpose of Pakistani domestic consumption.

//....I also think that Musharaff is a sincere and professional soldier....//

Really? Do ``sincere and professional`` soldiers trample the constitution they have promised to protect and take over the country willy-nilly?

It`s one thing for Pakis to sing paens to this Mushy fool - but time and again I am surprised with stupidity of people from this side of the border....Actually, this is very symptomatic of why India has not been able to handle these paki pests for so long ... forever Indians are making false reading of paki establishment and the generals .... what they are and what they stand for...

Re: # 144

Anil...

With all due respect... every word of Musharraf`s is discussed, deliberated and criticized upon by the 10 or so Private channels- and the opposition as usual has been very very vocal... so I am afraid your theory that he did this for Pakistani consumption is not true...

He just made a fool out of him internationally- thats all... he didn`t think before making the statement or before denying it...

To anyone I may have offended with my sattire:

I apologize if I miscommunitated (or you misunderstood) my true viewpoint concerning the MukhtaraN Mai tragedy. Speaking very seriously, I abhor the criminal act of rape in general and this particualr act of sanctioned savage rape by a figure of authority, such as the Panchayat. I think that President General Pervez Musharraf`s comments relating rapes to foregin visas is at the best stupid and most probably insensitive, ludicrous, and not fit for a head of any state. Again, I express my anger at the judicial system in Pakistan, the police, and religious institutions for not protecting the rights of vulnerable citizens like MukhtaraN Mai. I also find it disgusting that there are elements in Pakistan and abroad who are finding this tragic incident as a heaven-sent opportunity to advance their predetermined agenda.

SemenAsha, You know, hijRay, before we all saw your ugly picture, there may have been an element of mystery about you. Maybe, just maybe, there may have been a reason for your insistence on being right all the time. Maybe, just maybe, you were possibly some ``beautiful`` spoilt ``princess.`` But now, thanks to Mr. Chusni, we all know what you look like. Now, there is absolutely no excuse for you to behave the way you do. There is NOTHING that is even slightly appealing about you. So, suffer, wench, suffer. You have neither looks, nor physique, nor brains. Just a few lesbo friends. UNQUOTE.
