Gandhi was a charltan, a pervert hijra, a pet dog of goras, etc. proven. no doubt. I dont understand all this hoopla about him.
BTW, the treatment of women in hadiths, quran, and Mohammed is not exemplary either. So, why rant about Gandhi`s kanjarpana in this area??
i read an earlier post about how Gandhi came 1400 years later. That is bogus nonsense.

Re: # 2
I would like to make a little statement here…to kill a myth that some of my Indian friends here seem to hold. Ahmadis come in all colors, shapes and CAN hold views as repugnant and assholic as anyone else.
This essay at best will get a D for a high school assignment.

Hmm...wikisource ....the mother of all sources :)
Also, it is interesting that these Qadianis like Aisha Sarwari are pissed of at the
Mahatma. When they are getting the treatment in Pakiland.
Whatever has been quoted about the mahatma is nothing whatsoever compared
to the eminences of the land of the pure.
But then there is a a saying, the street dogs can only bark at the elephant. So
ylh , a.sarwari can only rant at the mahatma.
It is also probablt because of frustration - the great pure pakiland wont allow
them to say anything
- so they vent at the mahatma. Their hope is that in this way
maybe the mullahs will not pick on the ahmedis and leave them alone.

General Mushy learnt a lot from Gandhi Ji and now makes speeches internationally about how women can get Canadian immigration by getting raped in Pakistan. Some things never change. Desi leaders (men in particular) are idiots.
I never knew Gandhi Ji has a statue in San Francisco. It must look very gay. Gayndhi Ji.. hehehe..

It is clear that behind the mythology of Gandhi lay a man of eccentricity and strange beliefs. So strange that they crawl like ants in the pants of modern elite Pakistani women who rant and rave whilst her leader tells the world that her countrywoman get themselves raped to get a visa to Canada - and she belongs to a religion whose founder married a 6 year old girl at the age of 50 something and had a female poet slaughtered for blasphemy as she nursed a child amongst many of his other `noble` deeds.
Clearly the red ants are eating at the brains of the stunted minds of the Pakistani elite - as they whine their country spreads its curse like a cancer across the world and its children slaughter dozens on the Underground in London, plot to destroy America, cheer when kaffirs are slaughtered by their imbecile and stupid co-religionists across the world.
And if it is true that the authoress is a Qadiani make it all the more ironic - when the Christians have been Yousuf Youhaana`d out of existence the real bloodbath against the Ahmadiya will began and Aisha Sarwari will be saying - but Gandhi, he was a bad man as they put the bombs outside her mosque.
Stunted, twisted, psychotic - from the elite to the sewerage of Pakistan washed up in Bradford and Leeds - a curse on the world.

``To Gandhi the “good Indian woman” was epitomized by Sita, Draupadi, and Damyanti. ``
Sita who stood up all by herself against Ravana, Draupadi who stood up to the Kauravas when the Pandavas had been shamed at gambling, and Damayanti who chose to marry Nala because she loved him even if the devas were against it were not ``good Indian women``?

To Prophet Mohammad , 6 year old Ayesha was the epitomixation of the ideal woman.
To Mr. Jinnah , Miss Fatima Jinnah was the ideal woman who fulfilled all his needs....
To each his own , I guess....

Your interpretations are a major stretch but thanks for the quotes (from Gandhi).

Hello Aisha - I`m sure you have a valid point to make (re: Gandhi`s less-than-attractive views on women), but The Handmaid`s Tale references just obfuscate it.
Oh and spellcheckers never hurt anybody! (Offerd, Gilerd, Viola).

Talk about major stretch... the Queen stretch speaks...
Gandhi opposed women`s right to vote.
Gandhi was in favour of keeping women locked in their homes.
Gandhi forced his wife not to leave his sight, even though he admitted that she wasn`t much to look at...
Lets face it... Gandhi was racist as well as a male chauvinist.

This article, unlike the direct quotes regarding Gandhi`s views on Blacks, is a bit of a stretch. I don`t see much in his comments that would indicate much out of the ordinary, regarding woman, from a man of his times........
