There is no such thing as slavery. There are different social systems to live in this world. If, you perceive these systems as slavery, than problem is your`s , not our`s.

I am a pious, practicing muslima. I have been visiting chowk for few years. I am very friendly person. I stand up for every ones rights. Please, vote for me and replace me for Miss Farzana versey as a cheif editor of chowk. Since, I heard this news as Farzana Versey being the cheif editor, I am suffering from insomnia, depression, anxiety, lack of appetite with loss of weight.
I think I am suffering a fatal disease , called pathologic jealousy.
Please, help your sister in this trouble time and save her life.

Extending your logic, are your students your slaves, slaves of your college, or of the nation? Is one who is slave to many at the same time, really a slave?

Thank you for a very interesting article. Although, my opinion is that it is too one sided and presumptuous by assuming physically imobile world. I wonder how this conversation would change from the effects of effective re-gurgitation of the population. May be some new tools will be developed for controlling the field slaves. Who are going to be the newly annointed house slaves?

[Those best suited to discover this key are the intellectuals; will they rise to the occasion or become obscure as technicians in a bureaucratized social system?]

Look around the Chowk and you will find your answer. Once they were intellectuals, travelled thousands of miles to the new world, and are now technicians in the new world`s bureaucratized social system.
