You`re not a serious judge and do not regard this matter as serious matter which is infringement with impunity of the intellectual rights as well as the personal space a venerable female Chowk writer and interactor.

Not entirely. Obviously it had been on my mind since discovering the plagiarism but didn`t bring it up since knowing that you `do` visit Chowk still, as well as comment from time to time via iLogs, and if you hadn`t objected, what business would it be of mine?

It however did become my business when BJ was provocative re the sub-continent issue, and I had confronted him, and he had challenged me to come up with proof, which I did. If that hadn`t happened, I would have remained silent as how would I assume the use of your words by him did not carry your consent or acquiescence? Only when he failed to defend himself that I found out the foregoing was not the case.

If I knew how to retrieve old UP threads, it would show clearly that I fought for your intellectual rights, and it did help. I was badly abused by BJ, but I brought the matter to the fore and many interactors were stunned/shocked, and for no less reason than that the aggrieved party was no other than their much respected author and ex-CE to whom Chowk owes so much, and who was known for even-handedness during her tenure. Particularly nb of #19 here who was chided by BJ with ``Et Tu Brute`?``. Everyone demanded an explanation and since none was forthcoming, a point was proven on your behalf.

True. That was the reason. I have attempted to explain why in my #136 below which is basically the haze created in absence of your stance, and benefit of doubt in all fairness.

Well, that other writer `has` actually shown up via her iLog, and she does not, repeat does not, agree with your absolute literal truth.

In such an event, I withdraw in its complete entirety my post #119, which was only in good faith and duly awarding you with the benefit of doubt, in the absence of the original author`s input on the matter. As it has transpired, the picture is no longer hazy.

I too stand guilty in violating the original author`s intellectual rights in suggesting in your defence that any likely factor other than blatant plagiarism as well as malafide intention may have been behind these striking events, which suggestion I deeply regret and for which I apologise to the original author.

Yaar yellowbelly ... ``haraami`` is not really a `gaali` amongst close acquaintances, particularly when suffixed with `Yaar``. Then it just means you `naughty rascal` or something playful like that. Similarly, ``kuttey`` by itself is a `gaali` but when suffixed with `kahin ke` again becomes like you call someone `you mutt .. you .. !` or something. See?

Besides, BJ admitted the original author`s strong influence on his writing who is no amateur and is credited with over a hundred articles here on Chowk, some of them timeless classics.
