...........NoNoNo...I AM in favor of indians congregating.I LOVE it.So many misshapen bodies gyrating furiously to haphazardly put-together music is , and the gaseous aroma of dough soaking in stale oil of various kinds is a sight ,surely for sore eyes.I get a week`s worth of entertainment by attending one of these soirees. I`m with you on the ``lie-in`` though.

the competetion where india is far behind is food, even after bangla-deshis and pakistanis are helping us, indian food still lags way behind chinese in availability :(

..........YIKES!!.....Now we know why indian food hasn`t caught on as chinese food has.All we need is the greasy pak and the slimy bong to ``help`` us.It`s our fault.Every time an indian opens up an eating place these slime immediately open up a similar joint nearby and there goes the neighborhood. We indians never learn. We can`t be harsh. The chinese are more organized and cooperative amongst themselves. That`s why they succeed.Indians will allow a pak or a bong to open a restaurant in their neighborhood to their detriment.Which brings me to my pet peeve about punjabis , who operate the most number of restaurants in the US, who by being sympathetic to their pak counterparts are hurting themselves the most.

nikki, there was no need for that. golliwog indeed.

..............Sorry!.What else can i call the indian bourgeoise , who still think going ``abroad`` is the ultimate utopia. who swoon at the sight of a white man or woman and are so timid , self deprecating and unappreciative of their own country?.........

The European union signs on India AND China as EU partners with preferential rights. The US just recently signed an ``Open Skies`` pact with India.ASEAN signs on India AND China as ASEAN partners with full rights of ASEAN member states.Thailand signs FTA`s with India and China.I could go on and on.But i won`t.Where does Pakistan figure in all of this??.NOWHERE AND NOTHING.Why should we indians allow ourselves to be intimidated by the inconsequential opinions of paks with sour grapes in their mouths?.
The Baluchistan Issue

VIVE LE BALUCHISTAN!!.India should actively propound the baluchi cause in all international forums and provide as much ``aid`` as pakistan is providing to the murderers in kashmir , to the baluchi freedom fighters.Only when pakistanis die in cold blood , or warm, in their own cities at the hands of the Baluchistan Liberation army, only then will i be at peace.``An eye for eye`` saith God.

According to most of my female relatives all indian men are gay!!.Or, bisexual.Indian men from India will have sex with a man as nonchalantly as with a woman , and indian women think it is their duty to wean an indian man from close contact with another man, after marriage. That`s why i guess they`re so pessessive and banshee-like.Indian men usually have one best friend with whom they share everything!!!.How different we in Amrika are!!!.So, this story is not off the mark, is more indicative of what is going on over there, many men and women caught in restrictive situations, coping with it by keeping up a facade, getting what they really want on the sly.Chacun a son gout, i say.Good reading, this little story, is.

As an American i gotta scoff at brown golliwogs who crawled down under , get all uppity about the car scene in Australia., the land of hand-me-downs and re-badged cars.Nothing still compares to the American car scene and the sheer variety is mind blowing. The desi community`s car preferences in the US are as varied as the demographics of our community, ranging from Kia Rio`s to Caddy`s.I for one love american cars.Nothing compares with the sound of a full block hemi V-8.Orgasmic.Sad that Pontiac had to import the Monaro coupe and palm it off as a GTO here.Big flop. What`s amazing to me atleast is how the indian automotive scene has taken off.Excellent auto publications from Autocar India, Overdrive, BS Motoring and some others i don`t remember are on par with what one can buy anywhere on thid planet.Whoever thought that a desi can buy an expensive toy like a Maybach, a Bentley , Rolls or a Porsche auto right in his own backyard!!.Will anyone who is a ``real`` auto writer form Bharat write a piece on the growing indian auto market?.I wonder.Too many timid, self deprecating desis still around though.

What is sickening to me is the refusal of some pakistanis to see the writing on the wall...and, i.e., the Chinese and the Indians are forging a working , productive relationship, ignoring their age-old hostility and cultural antipathies , especially in the area of trade, ignoring all other nations in the sub-continent, especially pakistan.Other than flooding pakistan with cheap goods, mostly to the detriment of pakistan`s home industry.Shoes and textiles are a prime example and any level headed pak will agree with me.`Xcept of course you are a rabid, froth in the mouth, hoarse India hating beeaatch a la `Romair` , `tahmed32` ,`urstruly` et alia....

................There we go again bringing in sexism wherever a female is the focus of discussion.Women and men of Mukherjee`s generation, even as far back as naipaul`s and the like were WOGs.Times have changed and the new indian writers relect the new India. This is not to disparage the writings of these people.Times have changed and it is time to move on.

China and India are going to change the face of the world as we know it very soon. The chinese will always have the upper hand as they have been endowed with a superior common sense , seriously lacking in indians.See how they adapted to Buddhism from india and how the indians ditched buddhism in favor of retaining the raucous , gaudy and kitschy hinduism.Still, i say India , China and Japan are the nations that will control the destiny of the 21st century.Anyways as of now, it is China , Japan and India that follow the US on the GDP list for 2004.

You`re not in step with the times. It ain`t the desi NRI bourgeoise alone. The Indian bougeoise can buy the very same ``Camry`` in their very own backyard. And, a Corolla, a Qualis and a LandCruiser Prado and more......WWW.TOYOTABHARAT.COM .

The car is representative of the bourgeoise.Dependable, trustworthy, low-maintenance and has good resale value.Thank God for the bourgeoise, for without them the wheels of the world will stop turning and i have to work twice as hard at work!!!.God save the Camry.

#8..Doublecdec...........Don`t listen to the feminine bleats of the desi NGO crowd. They are worse than the politico crowd in India.I have watched CNN , BBC and other news programs where they have looked at the Indian relief program in detail and they have given a ``pass`` mark.India is rightfully wary of allowing ``foreign`` peoples in the Andaman islands as they do have sensitive defense sites located there.Just like Indonesia is now balking at foreigners in Aceh.Foreign aid workers and defense personnel should now get passes from the indonesian army to go around Aceh.Thailand has refused the debt moratorium because it will affect their credit rating.India is big and now powerful. It can do what it wants. The govt. has done a fairly good job this time.I wouldn`t say so if it wasn`t.Tamilnadu is my native land and i have relatives and friends there.
