Heidi Fleiss and Shahrukh Khan – Spot the Difference!

Ranjit #58, {``Dont you know the cardinal rule of nature? A beautiful woman is always right. Doesnt matter what she says or does. :-)

Just check out Ferzana`s pic on this blog. She is hot!! So no matter what she says and how she says it, she is right and you are wrong!! :-) ``}

Ranjit Bhai,
You are so right. One picture is worth a thousand words. I am just not accustomed to such beauty associated with such powerful people. :) Somehow, I got lost in transition from Chowk critic to awed spectator of such natural beauty. Just because I am frustrated with the detractors from Chowk UP doesn`t mean that I should wage a war of words here on FP - my sincere apologies to the kind and beautiful editor for her infinite patience with my unreasonable demand of requiring objectivity from a beauty. It`s not as if I was hurling ketchup at the article. Heck, words are my fig-leaf and that`s why I have to resort to such long-winded responses. :)

Khamkhwa. (why do you go around with that silly period attached to you?)
Interesting that all four posts (#40, #41, #42, and #43) you questioned her about happen to be all mine. Looks like your ``prime concern`` is about as certain as you are about your own gender.

Mr. Khamkhwa,
Do you have any role in life other than being the official Chowk statistician for all my posts?

#40, Did I mention that Jinnah, having a suntan, would probably be the better performer of the two? :)

This should take us past the 600 watermark. :)

Do you have a problem with Japanese?
If you can babble in that God-awful Poonzabi, why can`t we speak some Japanese. The GDP of Japan is much higher than both Poonzabs combined.
Ready for a Modern Pakistan?
Posted by Salim_Chauhan Feb 2, 2006 12:51 pm
Friends,
Just to change the subject a tad bit and spotlight a recent trip to Japan by Atif2, let me narrate an anecdote. This is related to the topic of a modern Pakistan which can export high tech IT gadgets relying on its accomplished and refined businessmen.

Some years back, Atif2 went to Japan to peddle his high-tech Paki IT gadgets. As is customary, the Japanese hosts wined and dined him and then sent him off to a Geisha House. Of course, being a freeloader, Atif2 enjoyed himself thoroughly pushing and shoving, panting and thrusting through the night. The beautiful Geisha kept shouting FUKA ANABOKO, FUKA ANABOKO. Not understanding Japanese, Atif2 thought that she was encouraging him on with moans of delight. Atif2 kept on enjoying himself as the Geisha kept shouting FUKA ANABOKO, FUKA ANABOKO.

The next day, as is customary in Japan, Atif2 went to play a round of golf with his Japanese host. Again, trying to impress his Japanese host, Atif2 immediately shot a hole in one. Then, in a further attempt to show that he knew some Japanese, Atif2 shouted FUKA ANABOKO, FUKA ANABOKO.

Perplexed, the Japanese businessman, in typically Japanese fashion, pulled out a map of the golf course, studied it, and then said ``Nope. You got the right hole.``

#17, Speaking of Japan, here is an interesting anecdote:

#120 by Ajeya on January 29, 2006 0:08am PT {`` Re: #62 by salim
In your defence of Islam, you are serious when you have an answer, and flippant when you have no answer. Rather convenient, don`t you think? ``}

Ajeya, my good friend,
Please don`t misunderstand me. When I provide an answer it is an appropriate response to your question. If you are searching for knowledge, I try to give you information. If you are trying to defame, denigrate, or insult, I try to use humor to diffuse the situation. It sure beats getting into a tit-for-tat general insult exchange involving cow urine, satti, caste, and the sexual tendencies of certain gods and goddesses. Other Pakis use this approach to feel better about giving after receiving. Fortunately, I don`t agree with this. Why insult you and others, especially good-natured and friendly people, just because you want to hurt the sensitivities of a whole segment of humanity.

Ajeya, it`s quite permissible to have viewpoints even negative ones about events and people in history. It`s another matter to hunt for shortcomings in historical figures, using today`s standards of morality and decency. We should be concentrating on eliminating evil in our own age, something where we can be effective, rather than finding axes to grind with people who are long gone as are their victims and oppressors. You can start with resisting the Modi-led BJP/RSS/VHP/SP/BD/SS bunch and I promise you that I will be against the UBL/Alkayda/Tally Ban/JI/JUI/ML/LeT/LeJ/JeM/SS lunatics.

[a) chopping off one`s foreskin - This is required for more enjoyment by the fairer sex. Also, it has been proven to be a safeguard against sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS. It is only required of those who can afford it. Finally, most women think that it just looks better. :)]

Acually, you are wrong there.

It USED to be thought that it was of some use, especially for penile cancer, but that has been disproved since. If you read up on the recent publications on this, you will see that now it is thought that there are only negative gains attained from it - like losing sensitivity in one of the more pleasurable sensations.

It is NOT medically recommended by doctors any more in any American hospital when a baby is born, unlike in the past.

And the origin of the practice of genital mutilation (male and female) was in Africa, a long long time ago, and had its roots in tribal coming-of-age rituals, and is still practiced in many primitive African tribes.
Please see Dr. Sri Rrsidhar`s excellent response on the topic.

[b) fasting during the month of Ramzan - So that we can feel the hunger suffered by the poor during the other 11 months.]

Very noble. That must explain taxes like the Jijya on the poor. Or the humane and recommended (by God, of course) practice of enslaving people.

Ajeya, you are now just striking with no target in mind. :) Fasting and jizya are totally unrelated. Jizya was not reserved for the poor - I think that the practice was self-defeating and did not have any place in society. Thank God, it`s not used anywhere now. As for enslavement, you have got to be kidding. Islam was the first religion to promote the purchasing of slaves and setting them free. Again, you are juding 7th century society based on 21st century mores. Slavery was used only for preserving the lives of defeated enemy combatants. That is certainly a lot more humane than killing them all or using them for gladiator events, or to pick cotton in the heat of Alabama as recently as 1865.

[b) multiple wives - Man by nature is a promiscuous shagger. In the west, monogamy is the law, but polygamy is practiced quite freely in the guises of having mistresses, multiple girl friends, wife swapping parties, and personal ads. Islam just wants to limit this free-for-all and protect the offspring of this bounty. Are you getting jealous yet? ]

If you have the courage of your convictions, why don`t you try this line on your wife?

Ajeya, as I said my wife does allow me to have fantasies. In Turkey, polygamy is against the law, but dreaming about it is quite legal. :) Again, we could go into the sexual habits of Christian kings, Jewish kings, Popes, Hindu kings, and even Sikh kings. But then, why irritate today`s people with the sexual lifestyles of their ancestors? :)

Also, on a side note, would you say that Muhammad`s attraction to the 6-year-old girl was intellectual/platonic, or sexual?

Now we get to the essence of your problem. If you don`t like Mohammed, the Holy Prophet (PBUH), you have every right not to follow him. Again, in 7th century Arabia, as in most societies, including Europe down to the previous century, strengthening alliances through marriage was quite customary. I am sure that this was the case with Hindu nobility where child marriage was used to firm up friendships and alliances. In the case of Ayesha, the daughter of Abu Bakr, the Holy Prophet`s (PBUH) best friend and ally, a marriage was deemed necessary to shore up the alliance. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) also married Omar`s daughter, an Egyptian Copt, and a black African. He gave two of his daughters to Usman and one to Ali, his cousin. You are of course relying on Muslim historians about these events and obviously they had no problem with this, why should you? Ayesha was never abused, Muslim girls were not buried alive upon birth, and they had a right to own property. Not bad for 7th century - when women were bought and sold like goats, girls were often killed at birth, and were themselves property in many ``advanced`` societies, including Rome, Persia, China, and even India. The crime is that we are supposed to further progress and not go backwards. If you hate Mohammed (PBUH), please get in the long line of even more accomplished hate-mongers - Dante, Rushdie, and hamidm2. :)

Also, please retain #41, it relfects Mr. Jang`s failed state of being a drug-induced atheletic supporter in utopia.

#23, ChaRhtay sooraj ki sub pooja kartey heN.

You were singing a different tune when she was just a writer. You were jealous of her and would not appreciate anything she wrote. Even now, your unsolicited advice is meangingless. She writes in a style that is far far superior to anything you manage to copy & paste. Oh, yes, BTW, I have been saying this since she was just a writer and not Madame Editor.

Please stop the ass kissing. It suits you, but not in such a blatant and obvious way. You are a real loser and you show it.

#26, Mr. Khamkhwa,
If I am authorized to stop you from making a fool out of yourself and getting banned in the process, should I really waste my time in convincing you? If you doubt my authority, by all means please continue to make an ass out of yourself. I believe that you cannot police against suicides.
I was making a citizen`s comment for your own good. Regardless, I have done my good deed, resort to your usual bad habits and suffer apropriately.

Mr. Khamkhwa,
For the last time, I am requesting you to stop your boring and annoying practice of harassing interactors. If you have nothing to say that is pertinent to the topic. Fermez la bouche, s`il vous plait. Vous parlez avec la bouche pleine.
Merci.
