The first American car with a gasoline internal combustion engine supposedly was designed in 1877 by George Baldwin Selden of Rochester, New York, who applied for a patent on an automobile in 1879.
Ford was the father of the assembly line, not the automobile itself.

Don`t hate me for my race, religion, color or sex; don`t like me because of the same.
Don`t pretend to care for me because of what I may or may not have; but don`t ridicule me for the same. Get to know the person I am, the soul within the shell... and when you truly know me, decide if I am worthy of a friendship. We will have many similarities, many differences... respect and tolerance will allow us to survive.
Forget the notion of things beyond our control dictating who we love, who we hate...
No person choses their birthplace, their race or sex... we do not control the circumstances under which we were born, but we do control our destiny.
Forget for a moment all our differences and look at how we are all alike... our wants, our needs, our passions to live in harmony.... the shell which houses our souls are all the same...we all require the same nutrients to survive... time to let our minds do the same... for the sake of the HUMAN RACE.

Thank you so much doublec. To be very honest its not the Khansahabs that are such a problem.. its the ones that feed them with nonsense and pay them.. and make them think and do what serves their dirty purpose. People who have been granted knowledge, power and the ability to pay and organize - owe it to Allah to use what they have to spread peace and find ways of peace and not wars.

Ali Shah,
Excellent piece. There is still hope.... i just wish people like you would be more visible to the confused muslim kids that are born here in the west. They need to be guided and folks like you can point them in the right direction as their parents are trying to make ends meet.
BTW it was amazing that a khansaab agreed with you. I knew a khansaab that would go to his ``mulluk`` every summer. I thought he was from Afghanistan but it turned out that he was from NWFP..... btw this individual was a chowkidar of a school in block N North Nazimabad.
Cheers.

urstruly;
this is over simplyfying and side tracking the whole issue ?
the victim mentality , perpetual state of denial and negativity is causing a deep impact on the quality of life of muslims in the west. It is also pushing the younger generations, who were born and raised in west, of these immigrants into a utter state of confusion.
their is a conspicuous absence of any effort to assimilate into their new homelands. Instead they have chosen to alienate themselves from the society at large to live in a cacoon.
I do not think the stand of these people is based on divine principles. Had it been like that we would have seen condemnation of the numerous muslim rulers who are constantly torturing their own people. I can say with authority that the much publicized scenes from the Abu Ghoraib prison are repeated every night in thousands of police stations and jails all across the land of pure.

Dear Shah
Nice article, with a very good message. Maybe because of our bad experiences over the last so many years, your article gives the impression of being too idealistic and far away from reality. Had it been so easy things wud have not been that bad as they are today, most of the indoctrinated muslims do not want to even listen how do u expect to change them?

No one seems to be getting the point of this article. The point is not to point out where America is heading or what it even is! We have lost focus of ourself- thats the point. Too much of our population is busy in some kind of protest - when it should be busy clearing its own internal disputes and problems. We have 72 sects, we have almost no unity.. why would we be not an easy target for an America or ANYONE for that matter? And when we do get targeted, we sit there and cry oh why why. And play the blame game. Thats what I am trying to say - discuss and resolve OUR issues first - create unity and then we deal with any other external power.

Colonol sahib the basic premise of your argument is wrong. Allow me to elaborate with a Hadith. Once Holy Prophet (pbuh) was sitting among his companion when he gave them a piece of advice in a sentence ``You must help the oppressed and the oppressor``. One of the companion inquired `` we do understand the part where you said that help the oppressed but we do not understand what do you mean by helping the oppressor``. The Holy Prophet (pbuh) elaborated this point in these immortal words ``Helping the oppressed is a simple matter where you save those in pain from the hands of the oppressor with whatever means at your disposal; but helping the oppressor means stopping him from oppressing the helpless; this is the bggest help a human being needs who is trapped by a minset of his own tyrranny``.
So when Muslims raise their voice against the attrocities committed by Americans on helpless nations, it does not mean that they wish the destruction of America. If you do not have a narrow vision, anyone with a common sense will understand that a just America will be a strong and prosperous America. A cruel and unjust America will do its own undoing. The revocation of civil liberties that Americans enjoyed for past 200 years, that became the beacon of light for many a nations around the globe should be an eye opener. Yes, it is true that America is not a police state yet, but government has taken all the powers that police state needs and in the life of nations 5 years does not mean anything. Watch what happens if America stays its current course in ten to 20 years down the raod.

Thank you so much ANNU. This is the way our Prophet PBUH taught us to be. A great example was the Jewish woman who used to throw grabage on him , or in his path, everyday. One day, she did not. He inquired about her and found that she was sick. So he went to visit her wished her good health. She at once accepted him as a Prophet. His way was that of tolerance, love and faith. Wars were in self defense and for JUST reasons. Unfortunately, his followers have destroyed that way totally and so humiliation and tragedy is the result. Anger is forbidden, so is jealousy and so is suspicion. Society is now based on these 3, fear of everything but God being the last piller!

Colonel Sahab, thank you. Yes, I do know the kind of people you are talking about. They are just that, Hypocrites. Those cannot be changed simply because we cannot define them except as Hypocrites. Life deals with them, and you will always find them in some kind of a mess. Unfortunately for us, they are the prime reason why our reputation is such globally.

Impressive writing.
you were able to cinvince an ignorant, illiterate and simple soul.
What about the numerous educated elite, living in US for decades , most of them naturalized citizens? In one breath they pray for the destruction of their chose homeland and in the next they complain on the immigration policies and concern for their kiths and kins who are rotting in the land of pure land and how eagerly they want them to come to this center of Kufr.
These people are cretainly not illiterate or non-acheivers. Most of their time is spent in researching yet new angles of the Jewish conspiracy. Its amazing how passionately these hypocrites believe in all the crap.
