I thought the poet was trying to wish us all on Diwali.
Diwali ki sabhi ko hardik shubh kamnayen.... let this be a reminder to us, that we in a Hindu majority country, still cant gift a Mandir to the Lord in Ayodhya.
This is the disease of secularism (and that too, when there are animal religions here)...

Quaid-i-Azam used to say almost the same thing ........ so nothing new in it for me ..... sorry dude ..... try something new .........
don`t take it seriously man i was only kidding ........
it`s the best .................
infact best of the best .........
anyone ............... who gives you any advice regarding anything ...... either you like it or dislike ...... it will come to you as a good thing ..... may be at the same time meanwhile you are being advised .... or may be later ........
its upto you ...... how do you take ........

Noble thoughts and ancient wisdom. The present reality is otherwise, of course!
``Munney makes the world go round...`` is perhaps the current credo of today`s academia.

My soul is the lamp that illuminates the temple of my being......
My soul is fed by the fuels of knowledge.......Gyana.......
Like MahaDevi Ganga emanating from Maheshvara............
a trickle, slowly but surely......

Dr. Vinze, your profile placed the poem in excellent context.
Thank you for all your work. Gyana daan is indeed maha daan.
