Re: # 10
This time reaction is quite mature from Ummah about pictures. No troubles little march and that is all.Sweedan is kind of crazy country I have heard. Denmark , sweedon, finland , norway finland so callec scandenevian countries are quite depressed countries and they consume lots of Pig meat and over that they finished lunch with lots of liquior which poisons their mind and lack of sunlight makes them crazy and running with no clothes in sun. They have no respect for anybody and they have mostly atomic power energy which poisons their mind. Their forefathers mostly lived in caves and wore cloths made of animal skins when pakistani of those years were making fine cotton and building towns they were white monkeys running on trees. In thousand years they have not done much and they are not morally good people , free sex etc. I do not even want to write about that. Only advantage over pakistanis is that generally quite fairer and yellow hairs but over time pakistanis look better as with age they look miserable.
Mr. J note at this time except pakistan and a.stan other member of UMMAH behaved quite maturely and did not give any reaction. Soon even pakistani will not provoke and all their efforts will go in vain. Best way to fight and defeat this cartoon or picture stuff is to give no reaction at all.

madani saab,

I can understand your concerns, a muslim in hindu india is arrested for killing a protected animal, and that is terrible. Having borne and brought up in pakistan where only blasphemy is a crime against against the state, the arrest of a muslim in india for killing an animal is bad. You no doubt accept that fatwa against salaman rushdie is fine, so is the killing of a dutch film maker, so is the violence in the muslim world over a cartoon, so is the non arrest of any one for killing saima sarwar. You can also accept the collection of some thing like 20 unclaimed dead bodies in karachi every week, but you cannot understand where killing of an animal is a crime against the state, and the reason is simple, you live in an islamic country of pakistan where the only crime against teh state is blasphemy.

Madani saab,

Even ink blots on paper is enough to cause world wide reaction, because ink blots are holy. Name the religion.

Good to see your true colour in post Number 4.

from dawn of today.

The leader of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Oerebro, Jamal Lamhamdi, was granted a 15-minute meeting with the editor-in-chief of Nerikes Allehanda, Ulf Johansson, Mr Carlson added.

The publication of the cartoon has prompted angry reactions from Iran and Pakistan, which have both summoned Swedish diplomats to receive protests.

The Organisation of the Islamic Conference has also condemned the publication and urged the Swedish government to punish the artist and the publisher and demand an apology.

The cartoon was drawn by Swedish provocateur Lars Vilks.

Several art galleries refused to display the sketches because of fears of angry reactions from Muslims, sparking a debate in the Swedish media on self-censorship and freedom of expression.

I guess the guy who died at the sidewalk was a Muslim and the Stag must be a Hindu. I think they call stags as holy shri shambu naath, isn't it.

Re: # 4

Madani sab.The one incident is inconsequential both in number and comparision,,,,,,you know in islam animals have EQUAL rights
havent have you heard of the khalifa or sahaba who did not eat b/c one of the animal was dying of thirst or hunger .
Animal sacrifice aside which is for food or symbol is in many cultures

but some species are protected by by wild life protection organisation ..

I dis agree with you making this example as it pales compare to the bigger picture

Where is human right group when Mr.Salman is sentenced to 5 years hard work just for killing few wild animals while noboy cares for his driving his car and injuring poor man. Animals have more rights in Indian than Humans ( direct outcome of worshipping animals ?)

Those who are interested can access www.thehoot.org for the topics on Indian media.

OK. The Indian media is like a village idiot struggling to play Pacman.

Media became too prevalent and intrusive but our guyz lacked neurons of reason or caution. It happened many times but check the latest 'mega screw' of responsibility:

http://www.siasat.com/english/images/stories/hyderabadblast/s iasat2.htm

The way the regional media showed the torn cropses is too dastard to describe. I never came across any orgn of intl media showing such gruesome scenes. Whenever there's a need to show some crime scenes, they warned viewers abt descretion and a formal warning for parents to be careful abt their kids watching those scenes.

Indian media had no sense of proportion nor they are decently educated to show these scenes.

I agree why the domestic vilence ,caste related violence political violence during election ,hostility against christians as in Staines case ,nadigram massacre ,not to talk about poverty hunger and street dwellers on the street of kolkata and other big cities ,Ultras sound missuse in gender selection dowry related deaths and many more other killers of indian are ignored

in favour of publicity of cricket, bollywood, t.v with increasing porno on it,power struugle among politicians ...we have much more serious problem than Salman and Taslema Nasreen
