Okay, now that we've got 'em eyes wide open, maybe you can do a little research to verify (or debunk) the claims by the random poster on the blog. You sure as hell won't find these 'facts' screaming out in mainstream media, for reasons I think you're smart enough to know.

Thanks for posting that piece. The reaction to the Dilbert blog itself is quite an eye-opener. The overwhelming majority of them did not "get it" is really quite a matter of concern and a perhaps a lesson to us who are foolish enough to believe in the supreme intellectual level of those who have volunteered to bring democracy, liberty, and freedom even to those dying & dwindling in numbers due to famine & pestilence & disease.

I wonder if Scott Adams himself might not become history himself. It is not a good sign when "history" could be probed & discussed ( revisited or revised ?) in a literary manner (sarcasm) so obtuse and acute simultaneously that the "message" could be lost on a majority of the "simple" folk.

Are we sure that people like Mr. Masadi, You or even myself
really belong in this age. 'Language' as we knew it, as has been my contention all along, is on its death bed. No one has the "luxury" of time & effort to figure out nuances of a sarcasm, satire, or humor.

If one can let others "see" it, why say it? I think Dilbert should stick to cartoons. It is also safer. It requires a much less attention attention span & one is always geared up to chuckle & smile even before one opens the funnies page.
After thus brightening up one's morning one is always ready to plunge head-first to brighten one's future at the Corporate Headquarters.

Cliftonbridge: where are you?..hope not naraaz

U people are nuts for blaming the Americans. Its a whitey phenomenon not an American phenomenon.

Here is the story of Israel...

Whitey kills Whitey...fells guilty..and then kills a few Brownies to assuage that guilt.

It is ironical that Ahmednijad is compared to Hitler. If individual leaders are compared, Churchill has more in common with Hitler (number of Indians killed in Bnegal famine approached millions).

Here is why Muslims are stupid:

1. They look at a Racial problem and make it religious. Brown skinned Jews have as much a right to the land of Palestine as do Brown skinned Muslims. But how are Brown skinned Arabs (christian and Muslim) removed from a land mass in Asia to make room for White skinned Russians and Poles?

2. They fight with stones and bricks when they are supposed to fight with their penises. Demographics are on the side of the Palestenians. Keep increasing the population and swamp Israel. Keep fighting non violently for self rule and engage the rest of the world on a moral basis. In short, replicate Mandela.

The president of Columbia U is the typical example of the self satisfied Liberal. Invite someone to feel good about yourself and then lambast them as if they owed u a favor for accepting the invitation. Damn idiot.

Don’t you wish that the most documented historical suffering was as believable as the cock and bull stories about the prophets taking dinghies and living inside fish?

re. Che #8
[[I agree with a lot of the things he said regarding Israel and Iran's nuclear program. I don't really have much of a problem with the questioning of the holocaust either, I think its pretty retarded but its not as "evil"]]

(the following is from the interact on the Dilbert-guy's blog)... It's of course highly ironic in style (just in case you didn't realize :) )

Here are some intersting facts proving the holocaust
At wars end Germany had almost 20 concentration camps. Most were said to have gas chambers. Slowly during the 50's and 60's accusations of gas chambers were withdrwan from all camps captured by the British French and Americans. Only in the 6 camps captured by the Russians did the gas chambers survive. To doubt the holocaust simply on this basis is rediculous. After all, we all know that Stalin was the most honest and reliable of all the ww2 leaders and would never fabricate stories about gas chambers.

2.The Russians, some years after capturing Aushwitz, erected a plaque stating that about 4 million people perished there. In the early 1990's they changed the number to 1.1 million. The revisionists like to cite this figure as proof that the 6 million holocaust victims is wildly exaggerated. We all know that the Poles were a bunch of anti-semetic, Nazi sympathizers and that their figure of 1.1 million simply cannot be trusted.

3 In 1989, the world's leading expert on WW2, David Irving, a man who lectures in four languages and who has written over 30 books on WW2 changed his mind and said he no longer believed that gas chambers existed in any of the camps. This rediculous conlusion only serves to demonstrate how even the brightest, most knowledgable men can come to absurd conclusions. Clearly, questioning the truth can lead people to all kinds of nonsensical ideas.

4.After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Russians released the death book records which they had captured at Auschwitz. Inmate deaths from all causes , including executions are all recorded. The number is about 75,000. Any one trusting German record keeping must be reallly stupid.

Reading revisionist historians is obviously a big waste of time. Is it any wonder that their books are often banned in most Western counties excluding the USA (because of the first amendment)

The thing about Ahmedinejad (Frank, per Bill Maher) is that he makes our dear President Bush look like a statesman. I am looking forward to the day when these two old buddies hold a scholarly, well-reasoned debate on C-SPAN.

http://www.reformislam.org/

OUR GOALS

* to educate Muslims about dangers presented by Islamic religious texts and why Islam must be reformed
* to educate non-Muslims about the differences between moderate Muslims and Islamists (a.k.a. Islamic Religious Fanatics, Radical Muslims, Muslim Fundamentalists, Islamic Extremists or Islamofascists)
* to educate both Muslims and non-Muslims alike that Moderate Muslims are also targets of Islamic Terror

OUR MANIFESTO
Acknowledging mistakes
The majority of the terrorist acts of the last three decades, including the 9/11 attacks, were perpetrated by Islamic fundamentalists in the name of Islam. We, as Muslims, find it abhorrent that Islam is used to murder millions of innocent people, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Inconsistencies in the Koran
Unfortunately, Islamic religious texts, including the Koran and the Hadith contain many passages, which call for Islamic domination and incite violence against non-Muslims. It is time to change that. Muslim fundamentalists believe that the Koran is the literal word of Allah. But could Allah, the most Merciful, the most Compassionate, command mass slaughter of people whose only fault is being non-Muslim?

The Koran & the Bible
Many Bible figures from Adam to Jesus (Isa) are considered to be prophets and are respected by Islam. Islamic scholars however believe that both the Old and the New Testament came from God, but that they were corrupted by the Jews and Christians over time. While neither Testament calls for mass murder of unbelievers, the Koran does. Could it be possible that the Koran itself was corrupted by Muslims over the last thirteen centuries?

The need for reform
Islam, in its present form, is not compatible with principles of freedom and democracy. Twenty-first century Muslims have two options: we can continue the barbaric policies of the seventh century perpetuated by Hassan al-Banna, Abdullah Azzam, Yassir Arafat, Ruhollah Khomeini, Osama bin Laden, Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, Hizballah, Hamas, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, etc., leading to a global war between Dar al-Islam (Islamic World) and Dar al-Harb (non-Islamic World), or we can reform Islam to keep our rich cultural heritage and to cleanse our religion from the reviled relics of the past. We, as Muslims who desire to live in harmony with people of other religions, agnostics, and atheists choose the latter option. We can no longer allow Islamic extremists to use our religion as a weapon. We must protect future generations of Muslims from being brainwashed by the Islamic radicals. If we do not stop the spread of Islamic fundamentalism, our children will become homicidal zombies.

Accepting responsibilities
To start the healing process, we must acknowledge evils done by Muslims in the name of Islam and accept responsibility for those evils. We must remove evil passages from Islamic religious texts, so that future generations of Muslims will not be confused by conflicting messages. Our religious message should be loud and clear: Islam is peace; Islam is love; Islam is light. War, murder, violence, divisiveness & discrimination are not Islamic values.

Religious privacy
Religion is the private matter of every individual. Any person should be able to freely practice any religion as long as the practice does not interfere with the local laws, and no person must be forced to practice any religion. Just as people are created equal, there is no one religion that is superior to another. Any set of beliefs that is spread by force is fundamentally immoral; it is no longer a religion, but a political ideology.

Equality
Islam is one of the many of the world's religions. There will be no Peace and Harmony in the World if Muslims and non-Muslims do not have equal rights. Islamic supremacy doctrine is just as repulsive as Aryan supremacy doctrine. History clearly shows what happens to the society whose members consider themselves above other peoples. All moderate Muslims must repudiate the mere notion of Islamic supremacy.

Sharia
Sharia Law must be abolished, because it is incompatible with norms of modern society.

Outdated practices
Any practices that might have been acceptable in the Seventh Century; i.e., stoning, cutting off body parts, marrying and/or having sex with children or animals, must be condemned by every Muslim.

Outdated verses
The following verses promote divisiveness and religious hatred, bigotry and discrimination. They must be either removed from the Koran or declared outdated and invalid, and marked as such.

Outdated words & phrases
Use of the following words and phrases or their variations must be prohibited during religious services:
• Infidel/Unbeliever: these terms have negative connotation and promote divisiveness and animosity; Islam is not the only religion
• Jihad: this word is often interpreted as Holy War against non-Muslims
• Mujaheed/Holy Warrior: no more wars in the name of Islam
• American (Christian/Crusader/Israeli/Zionist) occupation: these terms promote bigotry; at this point in time, Muslims living in non-Muslim lands have more freedoms than Muslims living in Muslim lands

Islam vs. violence
Islam has no place for violence. Any person calling for an act of violence in the name of Islam must be promptly excommunicated. Any grievances must be addressed by lawful authorities. It is the religious and civic duty of every Muslim to unconditionally condemn any act of terrorism perpetrated in the name of Islam. Any Muslim group that has ties to terrorism in any way, shape, or form, must be universally condemned by both religious and secular Muslims.

Portrayal of Prophets
While portrayal of Prophets is not an acceptable practice in Islam could be personally offensive to some Muslims, other religions do not have such restrictions. Therefore, the portrayal of the Prophets must be treated as a manifestation of free expression.

The Crusades vs. The Inquisition
While the Inquisition was a repulsive practice by Christian Fundamentalists, the Crusades were not unprovoked acts of aggression, but rather attempts to recapture formerly Christian lands controlled by Muslims.

There are a lot of people who use self-talk to handle what is going on inside their minds. When self-talk is not monitored cautiously it can lead to drastic effects not only on one’s personality but also affects its mentality and psychology. Self-talk is a type of conversation which we conduct with ourselves. In literature we call it soliloquy. Brain’s reticular activating system never forgets what we repeat again and again. Ironically this system can not recognize what is beneficial to the individual and what is not. Think you can, think you can't; either way, you'll be right- a saying goes like this. Therefore when ever we ‘talk’ with ourselves, we should be cautious, very cautious in fact. There are a lot of audio programs which can help and there are a lot of online books. If I recall there is a book ‘self-talk solutions’ which is every effective in this scenario.

Kulharee writes "Question: what kind of respect a leader from a country expects whose country’s official logo is (death to America) from an American host? “Merg-ba-Amrika” is painted all over Tehran, and is repeated as part of their morning, evening and night prayers."

Certainly when you have a history where the aspiriations of a people have been crushed by the American/British intelligence apparatus (ref- Mosaddeq), and where its resources have been openly and blatantly robbed, the banal slogan of powerless folk "death to America" is quite understandable Now the Mullahs who have been hobnobbing with the American/British machine have tried to capitalize on that sentiment and have coopted it, which by the way is not Islam inspired but experience inspired. On the other hand, you have the USA where every nation that tries to break free from the bondage to the US is not only condemned in slogan (Evil, hitler, etc), using all kinds of BS and dishonest tactics, those countries are made to "die" as fact (as we have seen in the case of Iraq).

Now the Bush machine is telling him that were he to visit Iran, the people would welcome him with candy and flowers because they are oppressed, just as they were telling him about Iraq, so while you might think that the hospitable people of Iran will badmouth Bush just as Ahmadinejad was treated in the USA, his "experts" think otherwise- they might well be dead wrong (as they were in Iraq) but the history of Iran/US, is very different from US/Iran so such treatment while totally unjustified in the US is very much understandable by the Iranians if it were to occur. Peons of the West like Kulharee, who have sold their every iota of morality and their souls for a few dollars will never understand this.....

I don’t think so President Ahmadinejad. You deserve as much respect as Pol Pot. If you want respect, move to Venezuela. There is someone who loves you there.

iranian mullas were very hospitable to their guests in 1979 for a really long time..famous persian manners and all for a whopping 444 days, no less. i guess ahmedinejad thinks if he was so nice to amrican diplomatic guests, offering them cologne water to wash hands and sugar cubes with tea an all, how come bollinger is so hostile?

i can see the puzzlement
