Re: # 138

Jang ji,

We hindus have already received the message of Islam (or Submission) from the momeens since long and having read the Quran we have REJECTED IT COMPLETELY as nonsense.

We are also ready to face the threat from every mullah who wants to kill us for rejecting this message of hate!!

murad, just like holy cow would be gored in chandani chowk as a political statement (so much so that bahadur sha had to intervene and make sure that it did not happen during the tumultuous times of his reign) JNU walas love to gore the proverbial holy cow much to Laddus pain. Laddu and many hindus (and other indics) vegetarianism as deeply holy and important, and have done so for generations. JNU walas rationalist offcourse have the dawa of finding selective references from vast ancient indian writings. this is a noble political act of goring the holy cow.

if hindoos like Laddu, accept the dawa and hang their head in shame in face of this evidence and become further emasculated, well and good. if they become rabid and foaming at mouth, even better.

its a win-win situation.

The Garden of Eden had the serpent.

Bali has its Muslim bombers.

But unlike India, Indonesia has no hesitation in carrying out the death penalty against people who kill the innocent public in the name of Islam.

Six years after the Bali bombings aimed at destroying the dens of iniquity called nightclubs, the Islamic thugs are about to be executed.

In India, one could attack the Indian Parliament and still not be executed because of vote-bank politics.

Judge: Bali bombers cannot appeal execution

By NINIEK KARMINI, Associated Press Writer

JAKARTA, Indonesia – Three Indonesian militants on death row for the 2002 Bali bombings have exhausted legal options and cannot prevent their executions, a Supreme Court judge said Monday.

A last-minute legal challenge by the relatives of Imam Samudra, Amrozi Nurhasyim and Ali Ghufron "will not change or delay the execution," said Djoko Sarwoko.

The men were convicted in the October 2002 Bali nightclub bombings that killed 202 people and authorities have said they could be shot by a firing squad this month.

They were moved to isolation cells Saturday and execution spots have been prepared on the Nusakambangan island prison where they are being held, said local chief prosecutor Muhammad Yamin. They will be "executed simultaneously" but at different locations, he said.

Those measures and the arrival of two ambulances were seen as indications that prosecutors could carry out the death sentences at any moment.

The 2002 Bali attack was blamed on the Southeast Asian terror network Jemaah Islamiyah and Indonesian police have ramped up security in case of retaliatory attacks.

Jemaah Islamiyah is said to have been behind at least three other suicide bombings in Indonesia since 2002, including a second Bali bombing in 2005 when 21 people died in multiple restaurant blasts.

It's high time science starts looking into structure of Abrahmic esp Islamic brain. The structure and chemistry might be very different from real humans and apes. My guess is that the idealogy of Abrahmic religions promotes the reptilian part of brain. Abrahmic means Paulian Christianity, Islam, Capitalism (consumerism) and Marxism. Just as Dinoes became extinct because of their reptilian nature to hog every thing these Abrahmic gandugiri might make humans extinct. Anthropologists need to check whether the mideast desert makes reptiles and the reptilian brain thrive.

All communication needs to be Samadhi promoting but sorry if this oen hurts someones. But Abrahmic Gs do not have concept of Samadhi. But rest of us human need to prepare ourselves for final showdown for Samadhi of future generation.

murad,

[[
You perhaps mean that Indians are more intelligent or capable of complex thinking than Arabs but I don't think linking intellect to any religion is either right, fair or politically correct.
]]

Nope, I don't mean that, the first promise that i have to have with myself is to remain close to truth. Intelligence is not result, but ability or mental capability (doesn't matter whether it produces result or not), individuals of almost all races have similar ability. But the results will depend upon environment, both physical and psychological, that let them use that ability. Over many thousand of years the hardware will start to show very minor changes, but most of it is software.

A religion is a collection of ideas, so we are not talking about Indians or Arabs but the ideas that Hinduism or Islam have. People who initially opposed Islam were also Arabs??, people like Omar Khayyam who disliked Islam were also Arabs??. An intelligent person belongs-to and owns the whole world in some way. The power of intellect is not power or feeling of management, where you need designation/authority to feel the ownership.

I am saying that Hinduism is ideologically far superiror to Islam. So the moment you get into the trap of comparing Islam and Hinduism and you try to defend Islam you will have to lose sooner or later. Your own next generation may not like your arguments.

Hinduism (and Budhdhism, even in case of Budhdhism it is Brahmins/rishis or the same priestly class of Hindus) as a religion created excellent ideas, many of them may not be true, but they reflect lot of intelligence and lot of truths compared to other religions; they are very ancient compared to anything in other religious traditions. The way Brahmins evolved their thoughts, the way they said whatever they said and the way they created a religious framework is much more praise-worthy than most non-hindus realize because of their own religious-ego. Still except for Scientists or Philosophers the common masses have been forced with all kind of negative campaign by Christians and Islamists against Hinduism. Their philocophical ideas, their Gods, their idols, their worships, even the worst thing "casteism" that people abuse them of, are so benign and never before advent of Islam created a bad society killing each other. You don't need an einstein to understand this. If you know history you should know what so many travellers to India say about it. None of them report a degenerated society, with the kind of killing that was present in either Europe, Arab/Persia or even China during those times.

If somebody says that he is both honest and intelligent and still feels that Hinduism is not ideologically or philosophically superior to Islam then, I have to doubt either his/her honesty or intellect (or knwoledge?, not that much). He/she simply can not be both honest and intelligent.

Intelligent people are everywhere, even in Africa there may be many who simply do not get a chance to learn anything. Most people do not understand how amazing mind is, it is more amazing than we know. If I just remove the "learning" that minds of many of you having 500IQ have absorbed, you will behave quite like a cave-man.

Dear Laddu old friend.

You repeat yourself so I repeat my reply of interact 88

Please be a sweet round thing instead of a nitpicker that this interact suggests.

Also please shoot at the message and not the messenger. I may not read Sanskrit or Pali or Tamil and you may not read Arabic or Presian or Pali but that does not mean that sincere translations are invalid. Meat is meat in any language and regardless of whether the meat is of a bull or cow it is still beef.

But you have a point in that Gao may well have meant a bull because almost all the meat we eat is male. One Male can service dozens of females so almost all the meat or chicken that we eat is female.

The economic and social situation in Bali a thousand years ago is not concerned with Hindu ideas of today.

Diet has nothing to do with religion but are social and economic customs relevant to their times.

The references to the sources have all been mentioned.

And I have to also add that I have applied my mind to the subject of bullshit, where you seem to be willing to accept my expertise, just as seriously as I apply myself to any other subject.

Isn't Murad Ali Baig the authority and expert on "Bullshitting"??

Who can deny his contribution to it on the chowk. He has already written a thesis on BullShitting!!

So why should some one object to stating the obvious truth!!

Re: # 125

Regarding the medical benefits or evils of eating meat or beef pl read:

Manu, in his law book, the Manusmriti says that it is a divine rule to eat meat on sacrificial occasions or while honoring the gods or guests. He attests that… `animals were created for the sake of sacrifice and that killing for ritual occasions is non-killing because all sacrificial foods attain higher levels of existence’.

The eating of beef or meat is also mentioned in several ancient medical texts. The treatise of Caraka Samhita, so important in Ayurveda, lists 28 animals including cows, whose flesh is recommended for the cure of various ailments. It describes the benefits of beef for disorders of wind, catarrh and irregular fever. Caraka specifically recommends a gruel of beef gravy soured with pomegranates as a remedy for prolonged fever.

Pl be objective and do not allow your personal convictions to colour your writing.

A certain interacter (the name always reminds me of NGK spark plugs) has again opened his mouth (what a mouth!) advertising misconceptions about Islam.

May this person get some real spark in his life.
