Re: Waqas Khan .. ``these are the birth pangs of a yet to come ``true`` democracy ...``.

Well said and then some!

Once Upon A Time ...

A country quite populous:
moseyed-on in its glorious past
of richness in culture.
As the years rolled on ...
then driven by strikes, local
disorders, violence and
corruption;
runaway inflation
with a high level of unemployment;
foreign debts draining the country`s
revenues;
rundown schools and universities,
and the spirit of higher learning
was slackened behind.

For 50 years now, it has been running downhill...
Economy in a disastrous state,
inexorable drift to national disaster.
A truly national consensus
to reach ...
but how?

Declaration of Judicial rights,
freedom, democracy, law and
order, guarantee of peace,
harmony and prosperity
to a country ...
Which is at the lowest of the lowest
rungs of the Maslow`s NEED heirarchy.

Pseudo-democracy, real dictatorship, inhumane cruelty and avarice and force provide breeding ground for turmoil,
civil war and hatred ....
will soon lead to ``apocalypse now``!
