I just read you poem and must say your writing is very good, and i felt as if i were reading my most recent experience with an on-line romance, that went to the next level, and then to the finel conquest, again nd again and again until finely i was, I guess, replaced. The relationship, or so it seems and appears - has failed. But, most certainly reduced my self worth to nothing more then a stand by lover. I suppose more people have experienced what i have and it is comforting to know I`m not alone in that tarnished areana. I could be assuming, but each reader will drive from your writing what they are feeling at time of reading, i suppose. I would like to know more if you are willing to respond to me. Thank you, and look forward to your reply.

This is beautiful, Aatish. But, the end doesn`t seem like an awakening at all. In my perception, awakening would be to break that cycle which runs from predation to prey. To irrealize the reality and seek another centre outside of the circumference of the present. To seek without aim.
Please help me understand you.

Re Saima and Obaid:
Thanks for liking the story. Do you think man can handle being an immortal?

Existential reality at its rawest. Can freedom ever be possible? Is the will of man/woman a fantasy? Is this a delusion because the void has devoured us?
Thanks for the thought provoking story. As ever, of-course.
